There is nothing manly about looking like a caveman. Also not all Loreesi are clean shaven. Many sport a rugged stubble and have plenty of scars from combat...after all the ladies dig a man who has scars and experience. Experience? I'm sure those scars are just from shaving your beards off with those dull scimitars you Loreesi use. Garhim women are like Russian, Czech, German and Polish women; think Anna Kournikova, Mila Kunis, Heidi Klum. And they're not lazy like Loreesi women, lying in the sun all day; Garhim women are just as fierce as the men For some reason all I can think of now is Garheim women being 7ft to 8ft tall and going "Mmm...Man Beard good. Me give you good Snu Snu" Also I would assume Russia or Canada fine...but Germany, Czech and Poland...that's more Lenfald. Those Italian, Spanish, Greek and French Gals would be Loreesi. SpearralSquid - Abe Lincoln, Archemedes and Shakespeare don't live in Garheim. The fellows in Garheim are more like Grizzly Adams..."Dem der bears be for snugglin", plus your bear wives can bring you plenty of salmon.

The argument was on whether you can have a big beard and still be smart, not where famous bearded people live. Oh, and if you want "bear men", look at Bear Grylls, famous, rugged survivor (now don't bring up the he slept in a hotel once argument, because most of the time he does demonstrate awesome survival techniques and does stuff like jumping off cliff into rivers without getting hurt

Actually...no one was questioning the intelligence of a Garheim based off their beard. I stated it wasn't always a symbol of manliness. However, since you mentioned Bear Grylls...he would be an excellent Loreesi. Clean Shaven for the most part, survivalist...yup...must be a Loreesi.

Doesn't have a beard....yet! 8D My point was that not all Garhims have giant beards.

Lenfald is more of an England type country... maybe French because they like frogs I think the point here is that Loreesi can't grow full beards so they shave off their stubble and go hide in the desert where no one will laugh at them. It's okay, Garheim is cold - we don't blame you for not liking our wonderful country if all you can do is shiver and huddle together due to your lack of beards. Funny, because even our young Vikings and knights without beards yet have no problem

Wait, what? In Germany is snow all year? I don't remeber having snow in the past year... Lots of pine and boreal forests, mountains, and often heavy winters; sounds like Garheim to me. And not all of Garheim is constantly covered in snow. I'm from the U.S. but my heritage is German, Irish, English, Welsh, and Romanian (Transylvania, not Walachia). Nice cold places

It's okay, Garheim is cold - we don't blame you for not liking our wonderful country if all you can do is shiver and huddle together due to your lack of beards. Funny, because even our young Vikings and knights without beards yet have no problem Who said a Loreesi can't grow a beard. Arturius sported a beard for quite some time and in fact many Loreesi have grown beards, we just don't grow caveman beards. We grow rugged in the field beards that can be shaved off if we want or kept trim to make us still look sportingly handsome versus Grizzly Adams I'm going to marry a bear Garheim style. Also we have mountains and the desert does get pretty frigid at night when their is nothing to keep you warm but cold sand and the open sky. That is if you live in the desert...most Loreesi live on the plains though and in the highlands. Further, Garheim's can't handle the heat. They melt like snow on a spring day in the south. Whereas us Loreesi are diverse and can handle the cold...we just don't like it. Makes us a little prone to burning things. On a side note...the only time I've ever heard any men huddling together for warmth was a group of Garheim's huddling together in a pub to stay warm and enjoy frosty brews. As for the elements. Germany is more like Lenfald and several parts of Canada. They get snow but also experience mild temperatures. Garheim is more like the Nordic Countries to Northern Russia and Northern Canada/Alaska. Has summer and boreal type forests...but also gets frigid long winters in some parts and has permafrost. Loreos only gets snow in the mountains where the Mountain Tribes who grow beards by the way live...just not wild man beards.

There may be some bear-marrying people in Garheim, maybe even a few pub-huddlers (although we thought that was more of a Loreesi thing ). We believe in freedom up here. Like a free-flowing beard in the winter wind - or a free-flowing keg of ale, for that matter

Well I believe that warrants my favourite Loreesi saying "I'll drink to that"

BE DRUNK AND MERRY! SO LONG AS YOU DON'T ACCIDENTALLY GET MARRIED TO A GARHEIM GAL NAMED MARY FOR ON THE CONTRARY TO A LENFALD FAIRY SHE MIGHT BE VERY HAIRY! - Loreesi life lesson. Never get drunk in Garheim...unless you plan on having very hairy children.
