"BE DRUNK AND MERRY!" Says the Loreesi. Also, a life lesson of don't get drunk in Garheim only means that that's not a place to, because we know how to have self control. What you mean is :"don't get drunk in Garheim, get drunk in Loreos!"

Who said a Loreesi can't grow a beard? Umm.... A decade's worth of peach fuzz braided into a couple of barely-visible wisps doesn't count as a "beard", in my book. LOREOS BEARD EXAMPLE:(tip: you might have to squint to see it)

Thank goodness he doesn't live in Canada. We exported him to the US. KEEP HIM! FOREVER! MWHAHAHAHAHA Also I did mean get Drunk in Loreos. We have more entertainment and don't have hairy ugly women who marry cavemen or wanna be cavemen who have yet to grow a beard like you Garheim's. By the way...this is what Loreesi look like with beards. They keep them clean and cropped properly to show how rugged they are.

You know, those flat, "clean cropped beards" look awfully like wannabes wearing makeup and facepaint.... You're one to talk. Your character hasn't even grown a beard yet. My character grew a beard like many of his people because he was in mourning. After all his wife and child were murdered. The others had similar reasons to grow beards. So unless Garheim's are always mourning I don't see why you would make fun of or insult another faction because of how they lack a big bushy beard like a Garheim that makes them look like this guy.

No. We look more like this. Beards FTW!

What's wrong with that beard? Looks better then none at all, or a wannabee beard. Either have none, or have a big bushy dwarf beard.

You stand corrected that he hasn't grown one yet. The guys 22 years old, cut him some slack! Maybe he's a late bloomer. Also, I think what you mean is that you Loreesi can only grow them when you're in mourning. That's because Loreesi can only be manly when they're sad and depressed. We Garhims can be manly all the time. And hey, at least that guy in the picture has a great sense of humor! But you know there's a difference between a well kept, groomed beard and a shaggy one like that guys' s which actually doesn't look a bad as you would have us think. Us Garhims have perfected the art of beard grooming and styling, but when any Loreesi does get depressed and grows a beard of decent size, it looks like a dead, mutated rat glued kragled by a three year old to the lower half of their face. For example, Loreesi beard: Garhim beard:

First of all...let's get off the subject of beards being manly. Some would state this is true, others have ardently pushed it isn't. The reality is no one can agree on that and will never agree.
So here are some general facts from real life and sociology to make it more clear: - In business a beard is not manly and is frowned on as a sign that the man behind the beard is lazy, unless its well groomed and short. - Most men who grow beards like the Duck fellows look like hill billies and that's not a site you want to be associated with. - Long beards that are not trimmed are often associated in history with barbarians and tribes of the north who were considered "Savage and Wild" I suppose this fits well with Garheim. - Generally a beard is a sign of a man being lazy if its long. That is why the majority of men shave. - Women generally prefer a clean shaven, sharp dressed man or a man with a short cropped and clean beard. - Beards are itchy (speaking from experience, I often grow a nice beard in the winter...because well I'm lazy on the subject of shaving and I don't like shaving in the winter), the only problem with this is that you end up with the comments of "Hey Jesus, when are you going to shave that beard?" - Which brings me to the last point...if you want to look like a prophet from on high...grow a beard. Which is probably the final reason why Loreesi don't grow long beards...otherwise they will be mistaken as Mages or crazy desert Prophets who have come to force you to learn their religion made up on worshiping the sand crab or something else that is equally silly.
As for cutting slack, well actually I think I will this time. After all he doesn't have to have a beard to be manly. A true warrior shows his strengths on the field of battle. Not by having a beard as Garheim learned when the Queen brutally beat them down so much they required Loreos and Lenfald to come to their aid.
Case and point. Make fun of Loreos all you want and the Loreesi...but remember who came to help you when you needed it because your supposed invincible bearded warriors were all but defeated. Then tell me who is manly.
