Hello! not dead just busy trying to get my life back together, but I for one look forward to this stuff. As a whole I can see why this forum isnt happy, these pieces are not gonna mesh with most builds but the visors, the trans weapons, and the little demon guys, I see alot i would love. Not to mention Im a giant 40k fan and the figures remind me of space marines. I also love when lego makes something different, I was never a johnny thunder fan but when power miners came out I thought those guys were amazing. I think i saw trans red chains, theres some cool new books, the bad guys helmet in the rolling castle set looks nifty but cant see it in detail. Its quirky, its definitely different, and the only draw back i see is that there are no undead space pirates.........yet.

Sorry guys, don't kill me... I love it. Absolutely love it. Dead serious.
The initial shots didn't look too appealing to me, but now that I am able to see it I am singing a different tune. The 2013 castle line was awful until I saw them in person. I absolutely fell in love with that line.
I know they are "out there," but something about the trans Orange of this line reminds me of the Ice Planet sets I grew up with. I will absolutely get my hands on all of these. That big Castle is awesome.

Sorry guys, don't kill me... I love it. Absolutely love it. BOOOO!!! Stone the infidel!!! There are some figs (king has new CMF hair/crown in a new color, and the queen as well as some of the bad guys are very nice) and fig parts that look interesting, and the pyramid cheese is going to be an awesome piece in future sets, but as sets, I strongly dislike them from a castle perspective. They probably will be fun to build, but since I buy sets for parts and not for the actual set, there's minimal appeal here for me.

ROAWIA IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! Can't believe they stole my idea. Guess we'll need to update LoR to encompass these spastle builds now? ;-) LEGO Nexo Knights by Allen Tran, on Flickr Yes the figs look like the most promising parts here for me. Definitely leaning more towards the fantasy side of castle, but I'm sure there will be some cool parts to use, like in Chima and Ninjago etc. Seems like this theme is planned to run for 3 years!... Positives being that there are likely to be lots of new parts, and TLG still feel the castle is relevant to kids, even in a slightly funky mash-up version. So in 4 years time perhaps we'll see a new castle theme that returns to more traditional situations, to make it different and fresh compared to this theme!

Doesn't look too bad, but we should still stone Schmidt , the figs look cool and at least the visors will be useful so I might get a small set (hopefully a bad guy one, I prefer those colors - I am an outlaw !) some cool parts and of course those books look pretty awesome!

I am with you Josdu! Villain figs and books are pretty awesome, and I am very much looking forward to snagging them. The whole concept and sets themselves though....meh

Oh yeah! I forgot about the Ice Planet sets! I agree that these sets offer some cool new pieces, but as a theme I'm just not a fan - I am way outside of their target audience with this, though

Sorry guys, don't kill me... I love it. Absolutely love it. Enough to lick them?Sorry guys, don't kill me... I love it. Absolutely love it. BOOOO!!! Stone the infidel!!! I keep thinking this whole Nexo-knight thing is just a big joke played by TLG....then I wake up and realize it wasn't a nightmare after all

Since we no longer have Castle 2013 or LoTR/Hobbit sets anymore, there will definitely be a demand for the classic styling of parts/figs. So knowing that they ran LoTR/Hobbit and Castle 2013 side by side, do you think they could also run a more classic and mature line of sets similar to the LoTR/hobbit sets once they discontinue the current Pirates line and develop the Nexo Knights theme?

I disagree on the majority of figs, almost everything looks far to Sci-Fi Tech'ish to be used in Castle. In terms of Sci-Fi I do like them, but for Fantasy/Castle the majority is IMO useless. From what I can see the Jester (futuristic belt aside) and Queen? are the only figs that have good potential for Fantasy Figs and maybe some of the other villains, getting a new hair color Crown/Hair piece is nice and the books that the sets have seem kinda nice for Fantasy too. and from what I've seen of the visors they have weird futuristic elements like exhaust pipes so eh meh?...

I like the idea but the execution seems to be missing the mark for me though I do see how it could be a good money maker for Lego. .. Anyways some cool fig parts and bricks in the sets will make me wanna get a few of them but overall..... Bleh....

Hey all joking aside, have you seen the new modular bank set? It looks like it uses the nexo-knight shield tiles in the floor in dark bley and sand blue! Could be an interesting new parts usage if they put it out in some opaque colors. Nexo-Knight Flooring Technique by Jordan, on Flickr
