"Pweeee! Pweeee!" The sound of trumpets broke to the silent. One cold morning, hardly a time to attack a fort. But well, order is order. Garhim, Loreesi and Lenfel charged at the gate, the walls, carrying large ladders and a battering ram. Luckily the gate was not very sturdy and soon it broke. A few dozen soldiers charged in, only to be surprised by lots and lots of Outlaws and a few Queen's soldiers. Outside the fort, the Soldiers had more luck. They could clime the wall without much struggle. As soon as they stepped over the wall, Orcs of a lot of different tribes attacked. A Loreesi spear man threw his spear and hit a soldier of the Queen right in the neck, killing him instantly. On the other side of the fort a Lenfel swords man was killed by a knife, thrown by an orc. His friend, a Lenfel crossbow man, killed the orc. "Wolfs! Wolfs!" A Garhim shouted. Indeed, a few wolfs attacked. A Garhim spear man quickly jammed his spear in the brains of one of the wolfs. A Loreesi soldier did the same with his halberd. The battle carried on, for hours. Mandred thought, as he killed a charging orc, "this is taking way too long. This was supposed to be a quick battle."
On the other side of the fort, an orc captain shouted in a strange language: "Ra'ga Bi Loneg Qui Grík! Hret ro'ku fruw!" All of a sudden, the orcs surrendered. They lay down their weapons and shields and stopped fighting. The captain of Queen's soldiers shouted: "Keep fighting you maggots! Kill those damned idiots!" But the orcs didn't react. Meanwhile, a Garhim flag carrier, replaced a big orc banner with the colours of Garhim. The blue and dark blue were back where they belonged.
This was my entry for the Unrestricted. The fortress is 52x52 studs, so that is enough for the unrestricted. It doesn't have a baseplate, because I managed to loose them somehow. Hopefully I will find them again. Hope you like it, here are some pics.
That's it. My last entry for this GC. Hope you like it, and please don't be too hard on me in the comments. This is mainly a big battle, and as I don't have a lot of small bricks to make details, it is just a big grey wall. Sorry. But I did include a secondary walkway, under the main walkway.
