My entry to the Restricted category of the GCVIII - Garheim in Ashes and Part 2 of my GCVIII story (part one on the way). It's 29x29 studs. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-White River Falls+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- The morning sun peeked over the mountain tops as a battalion of Queen's Men marched down the winding switchback trail, their breath frosting the air as gravel crunched underfoot. The group had made their way to a small crossing of the White River, a turbulent rapid fed by snowmelt that could not be forded without a bridge. "Lucky we got one 'ere," thought Selmy, the grizzled dragon knight captain. "I guess them Garhims are good at sumfin' after all." Suddenly a high-pitched whistle broke the silence, followed by a wet thud as an arrow sprouted from the neck of a dragon knight. "It's a trap! To arm-" the soldier at the rear cried, his warning cut short as a blade slid across his throat. The captain looked on in awe and disbelief as the hidden assailants seemingly melted out of the nearby rocks and scrubby trees, his small battalion getting smaller by the second. "I will NEVER submit!" the Captain growled, grinding his teeth as he brandished his sword at the assassins. He could see now that they were a mix of Garhims and Lenfels, each dressed in dun clothing yet still bearing the insignias of their respective houses. "I will never surrender. I won't be taken alive, scum." "Well that's lucky for you," said Caedric Moore with a smirk. "We weren't planning to." -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- C+C Welcome! Ronin

Nice build. I like the fact that you've done interesting things with the shapes of the rocks, and I like the inclusion of white tile for snow in the trees. I think my only bit of constructive criticism would be that where the waterfall meets the rocks below, the water would be essentially a spray, so you wouldn't see a lot of the dark blue. The more air water has mixed into it, the more clear or white it tends to look. Water tends to be darker blue as it gets deeper in the ocean, and ice tends to be a bright azure color when it comes off of a glacier.
Hope to see some more cool builds from you soon!
Cheers, Sean

Thanks a lot! I used every transparent/translucent piece I had for that bit but I'll definitely keep that in mind once I get some more trans bricks
