As David said, the KC never actually canonized that collab build. It may be used in the future for a story update, but as of right now it is just a really cool promotion piece for the lands of roawia.

Can your charicter pop up in the storyline? I think it depends on your character, their relation to storyline characters, and ultimately the KC, or King's Council, decision.

Typically, most player-controlled characters do not show up in the global storyline, though members of the King's Council have tended to write in their own characters from time-to-time, not so much because their characters are "more important", but rather because they don't have to worry about inadvertently messing up someone else's story by using them in a global storyline update.
The more developed your character is, and the more active you are, the more likely the chance that the KC might ask to use your character in a story. They don't have to be super-important politically, necessarily.

Since it was brought up in the Loreesi thread, will humanoid creatures ever be excepted into things such as military, trade, society etc; and if they can be who would make the decision to allow them (KC, Faction leader?). I'm only bringing this up becuase I really wanted to integrate Fauns into Loreos/my characters story (when I get around to building for LoR).
If they're not accpeted in society on the main land could the new colonies be different (despite being part of the factions and Rowain culture, the islands and their occupants develop a different, unique culture?). This could happen becuase the colonies are isolated from the mainland by such a distance that they eventually move away culturally (this could also have the opposite affect, mainland Rowia changes but the islands do not).
Anyway this isn't a change that needs to happen at all, I was just curious.

You can certainly incorporate humanoids into your story, but within the framework of Roawian society. Ie, your dealings with them should be private, quiet affairs. There are probably lawful, peaceful communities of fauns in Lenfel forests who would love to have a trade partner with the "outside world".
As for future mainstream acceptance, I think you have some good suggestions. I imagine the KC will be happy to discuss how this might fit into future gameplay, though a sudden departure from canonized lore would not make very much sense, so it's likely something that would have to develop over time, or be keyed by a global event of some sort (ie, faun saves the life of the king and is regarded as a hero throughout the land, haha).

What if the fauns/centaurs/other similar creatures were the native inhabitants of the Great Western Isles, and because they decided to help the colonists in the initial setup of the colonies it began to cause a cultural divide among the Isles and the mainland?

We've decided that there are no native inhabitants on the great wester isles. There may have been at one time, but they left or died off, for reasons yet to be known.

They are all good factions and a ton of fun to build and play in. Personally, I'd say Garheim, since it is mine, but right now Loreos has the fewest members and needs the most help. It all depends on what you like the build, though. If you like landscaping like mountains and snow and building stone castles up north, Garheim is your faction. If you like building forests and large wood and stone structures and a large Navy, then it's Lenfald for you. If you like desert building and tan and white middle-eastern styled buildings, and a large cavalry, then it's Loreos. Outlaws can mainly be anywhere and build from all types, but prefer darkness, ruins and swampy waters and such. Of course, you can build in other factions areas, like your character takes a trip somewhere, etc., but it would mainly be your faction type. As I said before, Loreos has the fewest active members, and needs the most help to be more active, while Lenfald needs the least help, but the choice is yours to make. It all depends on your preferences. If I missed anything or am wrong about anything, someone please correct me.

Great response Lord silver! I would recommend checking out each of the faction's threads and see which one stands out for you.

Really you should check your piece collection and use that as part of your decision making as well.
