Figured here was as good a place as any to post this. A few people have asked me this before and I didn't have the time or the focus to do it then, but money can be a good motivator. At this point I'm just gauging interest, but I was curious if anyone would be interested in commissioning any custom minifigs?
As for my credentials, I have been customizing for upwards of 5 years all told at this point, and I'm pretty good. I won the CCC Fantasy figure category last year for my abilities (shown below), and have been featured on brickwarriors for a figure I made for them recently. Contrasting from your typical customizing style, I try to keep the "lego" character in my customs, and as such I don't sculpt, paint or use decals. I am extremely talented at making unique custom clothwork pieces, and minifigure weapons. Also contrasting from your typical customs- I build my figures to be used. While my customs are of course going to be not quite as durable as a purist lego figure, they are much more durable than your typical- built for display only customs, and are all fully pose-able. So long as you don't drop it out a window or throw them against a wall, they're pretty solid.

As for pricing, it would vary depending on the amount and difficulty of customizing necessary, and whether or not I'd have to buy pieces for the job, but I'll keep things reasonable. I can make pretty much any figure, or even just make a sweet custom weapon, or a removable cape/sheath if that's all you want. Anyhow, please post and let me know.
