"There you go sir, a fresh fish and a new axe. Have a nice day". The market man. "Hello sir, how can I help you?"
"I am here to collect the money you owe me". Mandred was in a hurry, as he needed to check on his soldiers.
"I don't owe you anything". The market man said. "O yes you do. A while back I bought a few fishes here. Then you said if I was interested in some money. I was, and asked what you meant with that. You said that if I gave you money, you could easily double or even triple it in a few weeks. You also said that it is a hundred percent legitimate offer, no foul play or crimes were involved. So, I gave you almost all my money, and now I would like it back."
"O, you are that guy. Sorry. I kinda lost it, so I do not owe you anything."
At that moment Mandred lost his temper. He shouted: "I gave you almost everything I had, I have worked for it very hard, for many hours. Defending Garheim, it's civilians, including you! Now you say that you lost it?" Maybe it was the doctrine of the Queen, but Mandred got really mad, drew his sword and pointed it at the man's neck. "You will give me my money back, I need it. I have a house, food, everything to pay. I will come back later today, and you better have the money". With those words, Mandred turned around, made his way through the muddy snow, still very mad.
Later that day, Mandred returned. He wasn't mad anymore, but that wouldn't last long. He approached the place where the market man was, and noticed there was no one. He saw a figure running through the alleys. He quickly ran after him. After a while he lost the figure. Pretty mad, he returned to the garrison and swore that if he ever ran across that piece of filth, he would kill him...
How that is going to end, no one knows. Hope you like the story, here are some pics.
The happy owner of a new axe and a smelly fish.
The market man and an angry Mandred.
Figless. Good few at the muddy snow path. Hope you like it!
