Excellent! That placeholder photo from before really does not capture the greatness of this scene!

Excellent! That placeholder photo from before really does not capture the greatness of this scene! I agree. Thanks for the compliment. You can make the GCVII Restricted Voting Thread now, if you'd like.

Hey Matt,
When does the GCVII Global Voting start?
Also, are we planning on taking back the Capitol anytime soon?

Not sure when the GCVII voting starts...I suppose when someone from the KC makes the poll...which I did the last one...so...I'm going to say Schmidt maybe on this one. As for that City...well the next LC will cover that very soon.

LC16: FREEDOM! LIBERTY! JUSTICE THE LOREESI WAY! (Liberation)
Goal:The Primary Goal of this LC is to build scenes showing your character or sub-characters attempting to liberate the Capital of Dalmanutha from the Queen's forces.Remember, the City will not be an easy target to take. So make it realistic in the sense that you may loose dozens of your own troops in the assault as the Queen's forces have: Veteren Soldiers with numerous combat experience, Possible Monsters like Dragons, Magic users, Catapults and defensive Trebuchets, a Fleet in the Harbour fully armed and of course a very large army made up of trained professional soldiers mixed with locals from the City who support the Queen. So you may show Local citizens fighting against our own troops as the Queen's forces have been entrenched in the City for quite some time and the Queen was very popular with the masses. Some landmarks to consider:- The Harbour Gate (As built by Mark of Falworth)- The Three Triumph Bridges that span the River connecting the old City to the new City. These are very large and impressive bridges that may or may not have statues on them, but they are tall enough to allow full sized ships to pass underneath them without any problems as they either move up the River or down the River.- The River Gate - Used to manage the flow of ships through the City and exact tolls for ferries, etc.- The Old Palace - The Old Royal Palace is located in the Old City. It was the home of the early Princes of Loreos, but is now used as a place for administration.- The New Palace - The New Palace is where the Lord Commander is. The New Palace features the throne room built by Mark of Falworth.- The Harbour Coast Fortress - Used as Prison and Military Garrison. It is located in the New City near the main Harbour. It also has a shipyard attached where military craft are built in the drydocks.- The Central Harbour Military Fortress - An Island in the harbour that is circular in nature where military ships are docked. This fortress is only accessible by sailing to it and features a very large round tower in the middle that has defensive weapons set up on its flat top. Its also a military garrison for the Navy.- The Canals - The City both old and new have a variety of canals used for merchant transport from the Harbour through out the City. Little bridges span the Canals to connect districts. There are Canal exit Gates in the wall towards the Sea that allow for water exchange. These are small exits that are well guarded by Towers in the wall.- The Breaker Fort - a Large Lighthouse Tower structure located outside the Walls of the City in the Sea that offers a surf break for the Sea Gate. This tower is also designed and houses some defensive elements including weapons. - The old and New Acropolis. These are locations where public buildings like Mark of Falworth's library are located and where other administrative buildings exist including church'sand temples along with Markets, City stores like the grain depots, etc are. - East and West Warehouse districts with ship ports.- The South Fish market.Below are the categories for entering:Category 1: VIG 8x8 each entry is worth 2points. The Winner will receive 2 points additional
Category 2: Restricted 34x34 (including border) 4 points. The Winner will receive 4 points additional.
Category 3: Unrestricted and Forced Perspective builds - 8 points entry. The winner will receive 8 points additional. Closing date: Extended - June 30th official close date

I may change that date and make it a little longer as this will allow more builds for everyone. The reality here is that if you participate in all three categories you will earn some serious points. 14 points will boost your rating and this also gives you a way to get more points in a non-GC environment without having to join a guild.

Sounds like a lot of points. In the first LC we got 2 points for entering, but I guess the KC is ok with 14? I think I remember that each faction can make LCs for 4 points each month, if that is correct, does this mean that we cannot have a LC for the next 3 months?
I also think that the nature of a LC should be smaller than GCs, to keep the GC as "the big thing". But that's just my thoughts.
Besides that, I think the theme of the LC is great.

Bentoft I think, because this a huge event for Loreos as a whole, the KC have given us a special allowance on this one. It won't happen all the time, trust me.
