Loreos and its Regions (Climate):
From its central position, Loreos is dominated by four unique main land features:
- A beautiful, yet vast arid desert in the South-West with a large freshwater Great lake surrounded by tall crisp mountains and the largest river in all of Roawia.
- Small forests, tall mountains and vast farm estates in the temperate to Mediterranean North-West where small rivers and hardy folk reside.
- The greatest and largest Grassland in all of Roawia where small rivers and vast farms dot the landscape making Loreos the breadbasket for all the realms.
- Sub-tropical islands off the coast to the South-East tropical forests, heart of the fruit and spice connections.
Loreos is also home to some of the largest Cities in all of Roawia which include its Capital Dalmanutha which is ranked as the third largest City in Loreos with a massive expanse that covers two banks of the mighty Khos-Almasor River which is fed by the great Lake Genava. Dalmanutha is not as old as some of the other cities in the realm, but resembles in many ways the architecture of ancient Carthage, Greece and Eastern elements of the Roman world.

Some information about the other Cities:
Morastius-Renu
The Largest City though in Loreos is Morastius-Renu: Morastius-Renu is located in the temperate to Mediterranean North-West region of Loreos and nestled right into Loreos's most densely populated and resource rich regions which includes vast farms interspersed between small forests, crisp and clean lakes that are fed by the tall mountain rivers. This region is renown for its beautiful landscapes, vineyards, agriculture, industry and manufacturing, mines, and for being home to one of Loreos oldest cultures the Morastian people. Morastius-Renu is also the oldest City in Loreos. Some examples below show the unique elements of Morastius-Renu:
City of Lors Vegos:
Lors Vegos was founded originally as a Morastian trading City and the first Morastian City in the Southern Desert. It was constructed next to Lake Genava and used as a port to ferry goods from the Republic down to the Capital of Dalmanutha and other cities/towns along the mighty Khos-Almasor River. However that changed when Consul Arturius' father the former Consul Robertus Xavier changed the dynamics of the bustling trade City into a resort and gamblers paradise by inviting several other notable groups to establish Casino's and bring the luxury of Loreos to the rest of Roawia. "In Lors Vegos anything can happen and anyone can have a great time" became the Cities motto as it grew and expanded. Eventually the notable Outlaw and Merchant Wolfgang established a Casino their himself and set up various other companies with the Bank of Morastia's support to increase tourism and build on the original economies of the City. Now Lors Vegos is one of the fastest growing Cities in Loreos and houses a large military detachment with large Urban Walls to protect the Guests who can do anything for the most part, even enjoy a pleasure cruise down the Khos-Almasor to Dalmanutha on one of the Luxury Cruise Ships that leave port daily.
Below are some examples of Lors Vegos and the good times to be had:
City of Sarenhold:
Sarenhold, its towers rising from the Loreesi plains, has grown considerably in size over recent years. What started out as a simple walled town has now become a bustling city, the inhabitants of which are fed by the crops that are harvested in the surrounding fields. If Loreos is the Breadbasket of Roawia, then Sarenhold is the main reason for that title. Erathor Pridenar, lord of the city, even went so far as to start an annual festival, the Festival of Corn, to celebrate the rich harvests, though its original purpose was to lower the guard of Galainir's Dragon army.
Sarenhold, however, is not just an important food source for Loreos and Roawia as a whole. It is also a military stronghold with a large garrison of fighting men, including the elite Lion-Born. Many of these men fought in the War of Roawian Succession, gaining Prince Jarius' admiring attention, and since then have fought Queen Galainir and here multitude of Outlaw hordes. During this uprising, Sarenhold was used as a strategic rally point by many Loreesi wishing to retake their lands.
Below are some scenes showing different parts of Sarenhold, and the Festival of Corn in particular:
City of Toberg and the School of War:
Toberg was not always a City, however over the years as the School and town expanded the population eventually grew beyond the original holdings and the head master in recent times (Benjamin Toft) was forced to build a wall to protect his residents and students from outside threats. With the construction of the walls, the town's population that was already swelling grew more till the town became a small City of strategic importance mostly due to its extensive Library and School of Warfare for young Loreesi warriors.
For many, Toberg is the first rally point for any marches north and during the Loreos-Lenfald war many armies converged on Toberg to march north for the invasion.
Below are some detailed scenes from Toberg including the Head Master and the Guard of Toberg:
Cultures of Loreos
Loreos is made up of several unique cultures that are unified by their strong passion for the realm and unlike the other realms of Roawia, the cultures of Loreos always prefer to work together. However, it should be noted that the bulk majority of those who live in Loreos prefer to be called "Loreesi" the plural name for those from Loreos and not all of them come from a unique culture. Here is a description of each culture and where they can be found by their unique backgrounds:
Loreesi: Loreesi is the plural name of the common folk of Loreos who are general considered regular Roawian's. They are not overly unique in culture but often speak the common tongue, live in the common ways and follow common traditions of Loreos. Which of course includes training, riding and mastering horses for the use of warfare and travel. Loreesi are visible by their distinct love of that tradition and also by being a resilient people who face some of the most diverse elements in all of Roawia. Historically, it was believed they were made of a loose confederation of the Lorii people's who came from the Eastlands and migrated to the south and other parts of Loreos. However, the history of this migration has been lost due to time and the apparent destruction of the Great Library of Old Dalmanutha.
Loreesi or Roawian's are the more common people and often found in the greatest numbers in all the realms. They speak the common language and respect often local customs.
Below are some examples:
Morastians: In the North-Western region of Loreos near the mountains and along the North-Western Temperate region called the Morastian Vale is the location of the Mor-Renii Cities that extend to the Islands to the West or Loreos. The Mor-Renii originate from clans who developed into a civilized people with a unique culture based around the Patri-Familia who act as the ruling bodies of the Mor-Renii culture within Loreos. The Mor-Renii are the oldest culture found in Loreos and built some of the original cities that came to be part of modern Loreos. The Mor-Renii adhere to the King or Queen's laws, but live within their society as a Republic State within and allied to the Royal Family of Loreos. Like many who live in Loreos they are loyal to the cause, but do not believe in royal titles for their Patri-Familia, instead they elect leading members of their society to represent them as Consul only based upon their abilities to fight and lead at any given time. As a culture, they exist on both sides of the Loreos-Lenfald border and speak the common language of Roawia although they do on occasion speak Mor-Renuii their own unique dialect. Morastians can be easily defined and seen based upon their architecture style, and traditional garb as well as their organizated military structure. Morastians are also known throughout Roawia for their military prowess and as being one of the few groups to have a very large military that is not defined entirely by the faction they are associated to. Morastians also use a Legion military structure that is supplemented by Horse Archers and heavy machinery, artillery and naval fleets. (Generally they use the Roman styled Minifigures or Greek Styled Figures for troops as per the example below). The Mor-Renii are also the most populace group in Loreos who have the largest and most densely populated cities. Historically they were at odds at one time with the Skudae and had several wars with them which resulted in the loosely defined region for the Skudae peoples and the strict fortification of the Idail plains. Although these past wars are now mostly forgotten by both groups who fight for a common cause, there is a historical rivalry shared by both peoples who in sports tournaments often enjoying thrashing against each other for the fun of it. Due to this they share a bond that has actually made them more friendly to each other and the reason they are effective together in warfare against common foes for Loreos.

Skudae: The Skudae are a group of Horse Lord tribes from the Idail Plains who merged together to form the Skudae Nation in ancient times. They have been the masters of bow and sword from horseback for many moons and generations. Since the time of the great merger they have formed a formidable City called Civus Skudae where they raise some of the finest horses and breed some of the best horse back warriors in all of Loreos. They are truly a worthy Ally of the Loreesi people and are known to charge fearlessly into combat with rapid paced assaults. The Skudae also have their own language, however many speak the common tongue of Roawia as a second language. If you venture to Civus Skudae though...be prepared to speak Skudae for in their home City they only speak their native tongue. Economically the Skudae thrive on trade from their manufacturing of rare items like Silks, selective spices, and of course the Skudae Short Bow which is the best in all of Roawia in strength, accuracy and use from on a horse. They also make some of the finest clothing and highest quality light armour in all the realm. The Skudae can often be found in various parts of the Loreesi armies, usually as support cavalry, sometimes as foot warriors who are excellent in melee combat and taking enemy strongholds. An enemy of Loreos always knows Skudae are in the army when the tent system is employed. White Tent means (Surrender now and we spare your lives), Red Tent means (Surrender now and we spare the women and children, death to the warriors), and the Black Tent which means (Death to all). Here are some examples of the Skudae (Generally the appear as a mix of Loreesi in garb and or like Mongol to steppe warriors). Historically the Skudae had warred against the Mor-Renii, however due to a series of losses against the Mor-Renii people's the Skudae who once ruled most of Loreos and lands into Lenfald where pushed back to the small region of the Idail Plains. Now due to strategic alliances and friendship they work together with the people of Loreos against common threats under the principal of Strength and Honour. The image below shows typical Skudae people, showing the evolution from half-dressed barbarians (left) to heavily armoured warriors (right) that this culture is undergoing as they mix more frequently with their more civilised neighbours.
Desert Tribes: The Desert Tribes of Loreos are unique in the sense they can be found in a variety of places and travel in different ways. Most are found near the shore of a nice and shiny Oasis where they make camps and stay for a period of time. Several live in small towns and thrive on being along the main trade routes that travel through the Southern Desert. Those that subsist off the existence of the grand spice trade are often wealthy merchant types and have been known to be the best handlers of spice in all the realms. Others have been labeled as "Nomads", however this is not an accurate representation of the Desert Tribes since they are not Nomads or Brigands. In fact, most of the Desert Tribes are actually quite loyal to Loreos and provide some of the largest convoys of trade in the realm. Although they may appear nomadic, its only because they are travelling between Oasis's on their grand journey to a variety of destinations where they promote trade and harvest a variety of rare elements.
In times of War, the Desert Tribes have been known to provide warriors to leading Loreesi members to support the greater cause of Loreos. The Desert Warriors are fearless and adaptable to a variety of elements since they survive in both extreme heat and extreme cold due to the ever changing conditions found within the desert itself. Below are some examples of the Desert Tribes:

Mountain Tribes: The Mountains Tribes of Loreos are unique by region. Some like the Mountain Tribes in the North-West are rarely seen or secluded even from those who inhabit the region with them. However, this doesn't mean they are not Loreesi, many of the Tribes are staunch supporters of the ways of Loreos and several have made alliances with leading Loreesi to support for a variety of causes. Some examples can be seen below of the Mountain Tribes

Dwarves of Loreos: Loreos has a few groups of Dwarves sub-divided by region who interact on a daily basis with the average Loreesi. Some, like the Desert Dwarves tend to live in or near the Greater Southern Cities including the Capital of Dalmanutha where they work as fine artisans to produce refined objects, wines and other elements for trade. They also sometimes inhabit cavern towns found deep in the desert with secret entrances where they produce valuable luxuries for the right price. Other groups like the Mor-Reni Dwarves live in the Northern Mountains. Like their Desert kin they also shave their beards and present a more refined look versus the further North Dwarves from Garheim. The Mor-Reni Dwarves though live in a large vaulted City deep in their home Mountain where they craft fine works of art, but also mine elusively for valuables within the mountain and produce some of the best swords and shields in the realm. The Mor-Reni Dwarves though for a very long time have shared in the Morastian culture and been accepted as equals. Like many in Loreos the Dwarves are a hardy people who fight and work aimlessly to support the best possible outcomes for the greater Loreesi cause. Some examples of the Dwarves of Loreos can be found below:
Leadership:
Current Leader: Prince Mark Lorean of House Lorean
House Lorean: House Lorean was established by Prince Lorean the son of King Alphundus (direct descendant of Roawan the First whom all of Roawia is named after) and was founded when the Princes of Roawia argued amongst themselves over the Crown when their father King Alphundus passed away under mysterious circumstances. Lorean, who was a fan of athletics and horse back riding choose the lands in the Central part of Roawia where the plains were vast and he could race his horses. Under his leadership the Realm of Loreos was forged and unified with all the cultures and unique groups within it coming together under his leadership or merging with it through peaceful Alliances of mutual respect. From that day forward Prince Lorean decreed that his name shall be the last name of his line and since that date every Prince of Loreos has held the last name "Lorean".
Construction styles in Loreos:
The Styles in Loreos vary by region and mimic a variety of locations found in the real world. Generally members are encouraged to build as if they were in Western or Southern Europe (Standard Medieval to Greco/Romano styled), or use examples from the Crusader period found within the Middle-East or use general examples of Middle-Eastern culture for building.
Below are some examples of building styles:
