I thought I'd check to see what everyone did this summer! Hopefully you had lots of fun outdoor adventures, enjoyed some sun, and are now ready to come back to your true love, Lego, for the cooler winter months Feel free to post pics! I'll try to post some soon

My uncle passed away and I missed his funeral as I went to visit dying aunt oversees (his twin sister!), near wedding of wife's cousin, and no time for lego There was also beer, plenty BBQ, incredible heat wave, transcontinental flight and back, crapload of work... I think I covered it all Probably not what you were expecting in an answer

I sure hope I get more time for lego this winter! Or at least that is the plan. I spend trying to play major catch up on things I have been needing to get done, but have been too swamped as a student. And, as always when trying to do a hundred things at once, results have been mixed. Some successes, some failures, a number of fun dances, and visiting family which was quite fun. And trying to unstress from senior year at college. Also with mixed results. But happily have some building plans, and more organized space for them!

Click the pic for higher resolution! AK's Summer Adventures by Jordan, on Flickr I couldn't find a layout that would let me fit everything in here that I wanted to, but these guys summarize my summer pretty well! I got a new kayak, went to Cabo for a long weekend, did a couple of overnight trips - including down to Oregon to be in the totality zone for the eclipse - and hiked The Enchantments with some friends (where I met my little bird buddy), which was one of the best (and longest) hikes I've ever been on. I also played in the world's biggest 3-on-3 basketball tournament, Hoopfest in Spokane, where me and 3 buddies won our bracket in the competitive division. I made some new friendships, strengthened some old ones, and generally had a kick-butt time! All in all, another successful summer in the amazing Pacific Northwest!
