I'm waiting to see if Classic-Castle do their fig swap again, it was posted around this time last year, though I imagine the CCC announcement might be keeping people busy.
If they don't run anything I'd be happy to sort something similar out on MB if we get permission.

I wouldn't mind participating in two Seeing as CC are going to be running their fig swap (and assuming we get permission on here) what ideas are there for doing something similar but different? Eg microbuild swap? Festive themed figures? Fig with a vehicle? Some of that might depend on what spin (if any) CC puts on it this year.

Yes that sort of thing would be fun. We'd perhaps need to set a piece count (20 seems to be the average) or at least a minimum to keep it fair.
I'm still waiting for the CC announcement which seems imminent, as I suspect they may put a spin on theirs and I personally wouldnt want an overlap (or to participate into two overly similar trades).

There would only be a handfull of us doing it here but I think we should do something new and different I am up to brain storming for sure. Let me think on it when I get a day off.

How about choosing a polybag/impulse set and updating it?

By updating you mean choose a set and make it from scratch loosely modeled on the poly?

By updating you mean choose a set and make it from scratch loosely modeled on the poly? Yes my thought was to choose an poly or impulse set that has been produced by lego, and to make your own version of it. Basically a minifig plus a small build (we could decide on the minimum piece count). AK has given me the go ahead if people are happy for me to 'host' unless anyone else wants to? By that I mean creating a thread in the marketplace and sorting out the address list. Would anyone be opposed to doing it in a 'round robin' style? So you would send your build to the person below you on the list (the person at the bottom of the list sending theirs to the first person on the list). This would mean we wouldn't be reliant on having an even number to pair everybody up.

Round Robin would work and thanks for stepping up and volunteering.

Btw, if we do a swap rather then round robin I could volunteer to do two of them should we have an odd number of participants
