Here's my entry to Garheim's new Local Challenge, the Fourth Annual Fishing Tournament - The Dragon's Blood! I think the Annual Fishing Tournament is my favorite thing about Garheim

The cold seas of Garheim...
"I've got her, now, Fornmir!" the bearded Garhim cried, readying his gaff to land the large fish he had been fighting for the last hour. Bison Njordson was no stranger to catching the many large fish that inhabited Garheim's seas - its lakes and rivers, too - but it had been a while since he had tasted the salt spray of the ocean and he was glad to be back at sea. There was still the business of traveling to the capital to represent Orevale in the Great Garhim Council looming on the horizon, but the Fourth Annual Fishing Tournament had begun in Garheim and Bison never passed up a chance to compete with his fellow northmen. He had even been a runner-up in the Second Annual Fishing Tournament a couple of years ago, but he had gained almost as much fame for managing to not land a single fish in last years tourney, despite the massive fishing vessel he had spent the previous year crafting. To his dismay, his new ship the Blue Kraken had been burned during a raid on the ports of Black Loch; it couldn't be proven who was to blame, but Bison had no doubts that it was those tree-hugging Lenfels.
Luckily, Bison had spent the spring and summer crafting a smaller fishing vessel as a dowry gift for his niece's husband, the Captain of the Valeguard Sir Caedric Moore, and he felt it as good a time as any to "see that she's sea-worthy". Bison had dubbed the longship the Dragon's Blood in honor of Sir Caedric slaying of the dragon that plagued Orevale Hold, and once again his Dwarven friend Fornmir Sharkbait had taken his leave from the Shard Mines to join him on the fishing trip. Fornmir was a Dwarf of the Northern Clans - the Silverore clan, to be specific - and he normally spent his days mining ore and crafting jewelry in the Shard Mines and the hidden cities of the Dwarves. His free time, however, was most often spent luring blind fish and the ever-elusive Garhim catfish from the many subterranean lakes and rivers that flowed beneath the snowy tundra. The two had decided this year to travel together, first to one location and then to another, for comradery and convenience more than anything else.

As always, comments and criticism are welcome and appreciated!
(But pay no attention to the fact that I accidentally edited out part of the ship's mast... shhh)
