GCXI Bignette Entry: Secrecy - The Hired Help.
Having been recalled from their patrol of the forests, Davos and his band, now accompanied by the small highlander war party have received news of the discovery of new lands to the west and subsequent race between the factions to lay claim to these lands. To this end the Duke of Elavia has commissioned his own flotilla of ships and is attempting to gather the supplies and materials needed to undertake such a long journey. The Duke had sent merchants into Loreos, to buy a preserve of a mysterious fruit know as a 'Lime'. It is said this fruit can combat the sickness suffered by all sailors spending long periods away from land. The merchants however, had been turned back by Loreosi soldiers recently installed at the orchard in question. The Duke in turn wrote to Davos, whom he has heard is an upcoming leader and has now gathered a respectable force. The Duke has commanded that Davos raid the Loresi orchard and bring back barrels of the preserved lime to equip his expedition. The raid will need to be carried out in great secrecy, as Lenfald cannot risk provoking a war with their aggressive southern neighbour. To assist with the covert entry into Loreos and the raid, Davos has decided to enlist the help of some local Wolf Pack outlaws he had dealings with during the war against the queen. A secret meeting in a ruined farmhouse has been set up between Davos, and the Wolf Pack's leader.

An agreement was quickly hammered out. The Wolf pack outlaws would assist in the raid, keeping any Loreesi military loot. Davos, not keen on stealing from honest farmers, Loreesi or not, insisted no civilian property was to be looted. One outlaw, with an eyepatch and dirty clothes, appeared quite drunk. "What use is he, I doubt he can even walk straight" demanded Alara.
"Ah, just wait until you see old one eyed Willie in action" grinned the outlaw leader, My plan to distract the Loreesi guards will hinge on his performance!" he continued.
*hic* "thasth right, youse just leavth it all to me" agreed the drunk.
GCXI Unrestricted Entry: Steal - Loreesi Orchard Raid
On arriving at the orchard, it was quickly established the farm house was guarded by only three soldiers, although tracks showed a much larger Loreesi force was out on patrol. The drunk outlaw stubbled up the path, dragging a barrel on a hand cart. He was quickly intercepted by the three Loreesi.
"Ah my good fellows" cried the drunk, "Just who I've been looking for, you see, I've sto... liberated this fine bottle of Lenfal cider, and have been looking for some decent company to share it with" The guards, long bored of this seemingly pointless duty, quickly got stuck into a heavy afternoon drinking session with the friendly outlaw. A few bottles of fine Loreesi wine even appeared! Soon the party was fine and drunk, the guards dozing lazily in the sun on the farms roof top.

Davos and his men and the remaining outlaws quickly surround the farmhouse. Davos approached the farmer, who quickly understood what was happening and proceeded to forcefully negotiate the price for his goods, as if he wasn't surrounded by heavily armed Lenfals. After reaching an agreement, Davos, somewhat surprised by the farmers readiness to sell to him, clearly a Lenfal, asked about it.
"I am a farmer and merchant. What do I care about the intrigues of the high lords. All I wish is to be left in peace, to sell my goods to anyone who can pay for them. I resent being told who I can and can't do business with, and besides, you pay better than these soldiers of ours" replied the farmer.
With the produce in hand, and with the wolf pack content to steal the three Loreesi military horses from the passed out soldiers. Davos bid the farmer farewell.
"Best of luck to you Lenfal" said the farmer. "Beware, the leader of the unit patroling here is a different kind of soldier to these examples, you'll not find him so easy to dupe - and he will come after you..."
