Sir Jake of Garheim stands alone in his small, cramped quarters underneath the frozen tundra. Forced to hide from the queen's soldiers who swept the land after her coronation.
Jake can hear the pitter-patter of the soldiers footsteps above the roof. Only a few feet of dirt and wood separate him from them. Hiding wasn't his style, but the queen's control of the land was swift and decisive. Nothing left to do BUT hide. And wait.
Suddenly, the door to Jake's room burst open, and a Garheim guard, dripping with sweat and red faced, barges in.
"Sir Jake! News from the General!" he stammered, "Its his official seal!"
"Well hand it here then, my good man!" Jake replied, eager for good news. Jake unfolds the letter, and begins to read. A small, determined smile crosses his lips and new-found energy finds its way into his body.
"What is it, sir?!" asked the guard nervously.
"Its orders! To attack! The rebellion has begun!" Jake shouted enthusiastically.
"By the Jarl's beard! It's about time!" the guard yelled. Jake then places a hand on the guard's shoulder and speaks.
"Indeed! Rally the men, and gather your courage. We attack at dawn!"

THE BATTLE OF SEEGRIN FORTRESS (restricted)
Near the outskirts of Garheim, Sir Jake rallies his men to Seegrin Fortress. Upon arrival, they can smell the stench of the Queen's soldiers, and the Garhim's hatred for them grows ever stronger. They can see instead of shades of blue, the fortress is decorated with blood red flags and the Queen's sigil.
"I've never been so insulted in all my life!" a Garhim guard next to Jake grumbled.
"Don't worry about it, my friend," Jake replied, "the fortress will be ours again before nightfall."
Jake then dismounts from his horse and, with a white flag of parlay, they approach the gates of Seegrin. Jake bangs on the door with his fist, each pound sent a resonating sound through the fortress.
"In the name of the Jarl, I demand you return this Fortress to the hands of the Garhim! If you so much as refuse or shoot one arrow, we will bring every one of the Queen's soldiers in this fortress to their death!"
From above, a voice responds, "I am Baron Von Gruger, and my loyalty is to the Queen! She bestowed this fortress upon me in exchange for my services. And therefore I am afraid I must decline your meager threat!"
Jake felt his face swell with anger and he replies, "You foolish whimpering dog! Very well! Do not beg for mercy when our weapon are at your throat, for you shall receive none at all! To arms!

A few hours later, the horn for battle was sounded! And a terrifying fight ensued. Jake led his men over the hill with his sword flashing in the warm sunlight. As soon as they reached the oaken door, Jake sheathed his sword and helped ram it. A few moments later, they broke through. None knew this fortress better than the Garhim. Its weakness, strengths, and everything else were like a blueprint in the minds of the Garhim. They maneuvered easily once inside, cutting down every group of red soldiers that stood in their way. Within the hour, Jake had killed the Baron, wiped clean the fortress of opposing soldiers, and the fortress was reclaimed!
For Garheim!!!
