OK everyone, this should be the time limit so after this post, so if you are still working, just complete your build for a Monthly Build for your faction. I am astounded at both the quality and number of entries! Awesome work everyone!!!
I think one of the things that may have contributed to the success of this GC was the number of options open to you builders, with 4 subcategories to choose from. I'm curious, so please reply below on your feedback for this GC structure. We in the KC are always open to feedback. Cheers! Gary

Sir Caelan Munro I loved the set-up of this one, I would of entered all three categories if I had had the time.

Honestly it seemed pretty normal to me . I entered because I've always entered , nevertheless I do like the new second hand character rule a lot!

The second character was great to have as josdu said. I don't think the different sub-categories opened it up for me personally. Mine were all preparation- others wouldn't have really fit into my story. It was nice having them available, though.

I liked how there were different category types on this one. Only thing would be to bring back the Vignette category. It could even exist alongside the current ones. I always thought that one was one of the most creativity-inducing and fun to watch categories.

This is the first GC I've entered in so I don't really have anything to compare it to but I thought the categories and size options made it more interesting. I wish I could have made more entries and I'm glad that there was that possibility.

Like crazylama, this was my first GC I have actually entered, so I cannot say if it was better than others... However, I can say that I really enjoyed the categories and setup. The way you guys did it this time makes it easier for someone to "fit" a global challenge category into their own personal story, which I think is really cool. Great work!

Although I was not able to enter (due to time constraints, among other things) I would say that having multiple categories was an excellent idea. I certainly would have put in a couple of entries if my schedule had permitted it, but my lack of entry was not on account of the GC rules, I can assure you of that!

I thought this was one of the best recent GC's in terms of entry sizings, categories, and participation! First, I really liked the inclusion of the new Bignette category. It allowed for building and fitting a lot of detail in a small area that was still "workable". The vignettes are fun and definitely require some creativity but in terms of actual building there isnt much you can do unless you want to build vertical by quite a bit. I thought the Bignette builds by everyone were overall better than most of the vignettes I have seen in the past so I really hope you guys keep that sizing. I wouldn't mind the addition of the vignette to that but definitely keep the bignette. For the categories, I definitely liked having that flexibility of being able to choose which category your entries revolved around. I thought it was a good way to keep the GC relevant to your character and storyline by picking what suited you best. Instead of making your storyline fit the GC and wiggling it in, you got to make the GC fit your storyline! I would love to see multiple categories for more GCs as well. Adding in the secondary character before hand was also another perk to the GC and Im sure will continue to be for future ones as well! Fantastic entries everyone! Unfortunately entering my very large unrestricted entry was hampered by time, thus not being able to finish the build, but expect it as a free build or Guild entry in the next couple weeks

The freedom in this GC was much easier to work with than the last GC, but that's not a vote for more freedom (I'm English, not Scottish!!). Too much leeway and we might lose the link to the main story, somewhat. The overall feel was also one of much more enthusiasm - this might be because the topic was quite engaging (with freedom to get up to individual mischief), rather than the more generic 'good vs. bad' we had in the last few rounds.
I was a big fan of the bignettes - the 8x8s were amusing, but tricky to get detail into (some might say that was the point...).
