Faction: Loreos Character Name: Kaflar Deraim I was born the son of a rich noble, heir to one of the grandest cities of Loreos, the city of Geneva. But one day, as I roamed the plains near Geneva, I was captured - a band of ruthless outlaws, who cared not whose son I was, only that I was now their slave. For many years I was forced to work for them, learning their trade. Gradually I rose in the ranks. I did not wish to become an outlaw, but I would wait, I would bide my time. Finally that opportunity came, and I escaped, over the mountains that surrounded lake Genava, back to the city I call home. Once there, I discovered my father dead. A struggle for power ensued, but the elders of the city favored me, and the current ruler had disgraced himself by his unhallowed luxury and outrageous taxes. I, Kaflar Deraim, join myself to the faction of Loreos, in the hopes that we will one day reign supreme. Old CIC.

Faction: Loreos Name: Alfadas "the Lion" Alfarasti Character/History: Born and raised as a farmer, Alfadas grew up very poor. There were days that the little kid didn't eat. When he was 10 years old, he was sold as a slave (he was okay with it) so his family could eat for a while. He then knew what being rich meant. He was trained to be a sword fighter, in the personal army of his owner. The commander of that army quickly learned that Alfadas was a natural talented sword fighter. When he was 13 years old, Alfadas could easily beat the commander, who had years of warfare behind him. Alfadas became famous and everyone wanted him as their leader. When Alfadas became a men at the age of 17, his nameday present was the title of commander. The old commander was old, had a bad vision en suffered brain damage, because of all the blows to the head he got while fighting. It was only logical to retire. Alfadas was a great commander, and under his command the army grew bigger and became very strong. His owner didn't have a son or daughter who could inherit the trade empire he made. When he died, the trade empire was ruled by a few of his nephews. Alfadas didn't like them, as did the rest of the army. The old owner treated them as human, the nephews treated them as beasts, very dumb beasts. Alfadas gathered a few of the best fighters and killed all the nephews. He set himself and the army free. Now, at the age of 27, he still had most of "his" army under command. The army was only 10 men big, with a commander, but was very strong and very famous under rich traders. Alfadas now is a merchant, who will fight for everybody that pays him the most gold. Most of the time he doesn't have to fight, only to guard the trade routes. Every now and then he organizes a tournament for his soldiers. Whoever wins such a tournament, gets a double payment in gold, and extra water and food. Alfadas' loyalty is with Loreos, and he will do everything to protect it. Am I now a member of Loreos? Do I need to do something else? I am not quite sure.

Faction: Outlaws Name: Inquisitor Gunnbrikt Gender: Male Species: Human His story so far:Originally named Borim Gunnbrikt, he was a loyal and respected knight of Garheim and protector of Jarl Bonne before his life was shattered after the takeover by Queen Galainir. After leading a string of successful raids against camps of the queen’s forces for his Jarl, he returned triumphantly to tell the Jarl of his successes. Upon entering the Jarl’s campaign tent he finds Bonne dead, murdered with a blade in his back. Within seconds, guards rushed in along with the Garheim officials. Corrupted by the queen’s gold, they framed him for his Jarl’s murder and ordered the men to apprehend him. In a zealous wrath for his master’s murder he launched himself at the officials, sword in hand. He remorsefully had to kill the guards who tried to protect the vile officials. He tried to reason with them but their honour blinded them to the evil they were defending. The guards fell at his feet and only the officials were left, pleading for their life’s to be spared. Their please were left unanswered, no mercy would be given for men so wicked and corrupted by gold of evil. He sat by his Jarl’s side with blood on his hands and in despair. He had nothing left except for a burning fervour for justice. He vowed to himself that he would avenge his Jarl’s death by finding and destroying the men and women who did this and all other corrupted evil men and creatures, no matter their faction or creed. From that day on he called himself Inquisitor Gunnbrikt, destroyer of evil men and shepherd of the weak. His protection of the kingdom was now seen as a crime and he made a hasty escape else be killed falsely as a traitor to the realm and murderer of men. Gunnbrikt headed south towards the only place he had left to go, the territory of the Outlaws. From here he could find a place to call his new home and find like-minded men and creatures for his righteous crusade against evil and Queen Galainir, wickedest of them all and murderer of his Jarl. We meet the inquisitor in the deserts around Two Face Pass on his journey south. Exhausted and in need of rest from his long and hasty journey he sets up camp on an abandoned wooden platform set into the rocky cliffside. With no one around for miles and with some shade to sleep under he rests his eyes for a moment. Suddenly he wakes up hearing a noise and leaps to his feet, his sword and trusty crossbow in hand. He could hear someone approaching. But who could it possibly be… Character Introduction Challenge - An Inquistitive Start

Faction: LoreosName: Dararius TiridatesDararius Tiridates is a desert dwarf from the southern nation of Loreos. Unlike their uncivilized cousins who inhabit Garheim, the Loreesi dwarfs are largely clean-shaven, and place great emphasis on personal honor and stylish attire. I am unsure if I have to do this again... but I wasn't very active to begin with. Here is my character re-introduction for Harald the Vigilant, of the Outlaws. : DSC_1891 by skaforhire, on Flickr Harald the Vigilant is an odd fellow. He dresses immaculately, enjoys cleanliness, but lives a mostly Spartan life amongst his men. He began life as Lord Harald, inheriting his father's estate at just the age of 6, somewhere in the remote reaches of Lenfald where no tax collector or any representative of army conscription had visited in many generations. Mostly, his hold, named Roundrock, lived an autonomous existence away from politics of the age. At 22 he married his wife Elga. They had trouble conceiving an heir for many years, but on Harald's 30th birthday, Elga surprised him with the news that she was pregnant. The last three years at Roundrock had been tumultuous. The holding, which numbered over 1000 souls had had a rash of murders. Gruesome murders where a young child would turn up in only bits and pieces. It was soon whispered that some evil spirit lived within the woods and was taking the children of the town. Harald had put together a team of warriors (there was very few men skilled in warfare, as Roundrock had not known war in over 100 years.) and set to hunt the spirit. Still the spirit eluded him. Upon the birth of his child there were screams from the midwife. Harald bust into Elga's chamber to find a baby of ruby red skin and fiery hello eyes in the arms of his wife. A guard drew his sword, but Elga extended her arms and burnt the man to a crisp with a fireball. In some sort of unearthly hiss she said "my child." Flabbergasted, Harald could only ask in a small voice "Why?" He knew immediately what had been eating the children. "I did this for you, my love." Elga replied. "I could not bear to leave you without heir. So I went to the forest and found my true essence. Magic is within me, and now it is within our son." Harald sighed and went to embrace his wife and baby -- only to thrust a dagger deep in her back as he hugged her, eyes full of tears. As for the baby, it was locked deep in the dungeon of Roundrock. He announced to his people that a demon had taken his wife, and from this day forth, all magic of any kind would be seen as an attack on his authority, punishable by death. Then began the questioning. A year passed, and over thirty men and women lost their life to the flame for having some connection to magic. On the birthday of his spawn, a sudden fire broke up and engulfed the keep and the surrounding town. There was little anyone could do. Most of Roundrock was fast asleep in their beds at the time, and had no warning. After the flames died down, Harald, who barely escaped his caslte, found that only 100 survivors remained. Harald preached the evils of magic that had destroyed their fair town and the men rallied to Harald's new cause - a complete and total war on magic. Seeing nothing left for him at Roundrock, he took what was left in the treasury and boarded a small ship with his 70 volunteers and their family. Harald knew where he needed to make his new home. Not away from magic, but in the heart of it. Somewhere in Blackhand Bay lies an island, upon that island - now named Clarity Rock, Harald made his fortress. For the last five years the members of his order, the Knights of the Natural Order, have quietly roamed the mainland looking for others who have been touched by magic. Sometimes taking action where needed, but often recruiting new brothers into the order. Many times establishing chapter houses in some of the faction's largest cities and towns. These templars work outside of the local laws, often fleeing the authorities if need be. Harald refused to become associated with any of the factions, because he felt that none of their laws were strict enough against users of magic. For this reason, the great fortress at Clarity Rock is his home, and the Knights of the Natural Order answer to no one. Below is Harald on a small recruitment trip in Loreos. (Sorry, very small MOC... but wanted to leave the story MOCs for freebuilds). The order does not really have an official crest, when in battle they pick up whatever weapons they need. When out recruiting, they often dress in local fashion to pass off as locals. It is not uncommon to see a knight of the Natural Order picking up heraldry that is not his just to pass by a checkpoint. On the field, as an organized force, they often wear black and white. Harald, and a few of the Roundrock survivors still use the old boar crest of the hold.

Name: The Traveler (Real Name Unknown )
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Faction: The Outlaws
Profile: I am The Traveler, with the full training of an Assassin, I shift through time and space, in search of kingdoms that are in need of help. I am proud to say that I am an Outlaw, simply a lonely ranger who wants to help the Rebels. And I shall not kneel before anyone, king, queen nor' government. And I will later consider gathering a group of Rebels who will stand tall and straight as they will fight for the Outlaws, but never for the queen, as we will be under nobody's commandment!
I am a great companion, and I like to form small groups of Rebels who would proudly fight along-side me. I have the cunning skills of a Fox, the Hearing of a Bat and the Sight of an Eagle.
I was held captive in a Third-Realm-Dimension for Rebelling against the 'False' Leader of the Lands in Kazardhun. I have escaped thanks to my secret 'dagger' that I kept on me during my stay in the dungeons where the trolls roam as Guards. I have successfully escaped and travelled to the realms of Roawia as fast as I could.
Weapon: I prefer my large-scale claw extention for a large 'Grip' on my enemies and Opponents.
More Info: I am a begginer Mage as I secretly Practice some small spells and moves in secret from everybody .
Yours Sincerely, The Traveler

Hello all! Since my last character for the LOR was eliminated in the battle for the Queens castle I was able to start this new one! Name: Dante Wolff Faction: Lenfald. Back story:At the tender age of 20 years old Dante Wolff decided he would set off to be an adventurer. He got up and, snuck away from his home and, set out! His first stop would be StoneWald, the capitol of Lenfald. Surely he would find many there willing to hire him for whatever tasks they might have for him. On his ride through Lenfald he rode past a large Fortress. It must have been a new one because he didn’t see it on his map. It flew the Queens colors, so he steered clear of it. He shook his head and, spurred his horse on. If all went well he could make it to his destination by tomorrow afternoon. Skills: Excellent swordsmen, Skillful bowmen, good tracker, and, very witty.

Just a friendly reminder, as it appears to be something that is being overlooked. You should link your sign-up character into your faction thread as well, that way your faction overseer/liaison knows you have signed up over here, as they might not regularly check this thread.
Respectfully, Schmidt
