This is my second attempt at a Castle/Medieval build my first was a lot smaller than this ! This build started off with the fireplace and just got bigger and bigger and bigger I am really happy with the results but just wish the larger photographs were a little clearer. Flickr Link here link

Wow, very bright and colorful! Your floor looks good and your figs are fantastic and very lively. I like your subtle details (mouse with cheese, entertaining jesters, fig expressions, etc.). What kind of camera did you use to photograph this? I have been using an iPhone for my builds, and just cannot get the desired resolution for better details. I am looking to invest in a higher quality camera soon. I like the lion columns on the fire place. The light tan of the fireplace certainly serves as an accent, but I am wondering if it might look better in a grayish color to fit in with MOC scheme and colors. Ultimately, I don't know (I'm certainly no expert MOCer), but I do enjoy this build

Thanks for your comments Schmidt The fire place would probably look better in a gray But it's what started the build I was just messing and looking at medieval fireplaces on the net and build it Then the rest just happened around it so I thought I keep the seed that started this build It was quite hard to get a good photograph of as I would normally just a light tent but this build wouldn't fit so the lighting is daylight with a few tweaks I have two camera's I use a Panasonic Lumix dmc-tz8 which is great for really close up shots and I also use a Nikon D3100 Have a look at my Flickr page and it will tell you which of these I have used on each picture I also use Gimp for any editing it a free program and very simple to use

Lovely colourful, vibrant work here. The shields that and flags all over the wall are great. It give the feeling of all the LEGO castle nations banding together for a marvelous feast. I love all the minifig action as well. For only your second castle build, you did great, keep it up!
Happy Building, Sir Valiant~

One of my favourite recent castle MOCs for sure. The scale, the colours, the minifigures...they all combine to make this a truly wonderful build.

Whoa this is one of the best castle interiors that I have ever seen! You told a story in every inch of this build and I could stare at it forever. You used a ton of color, but it doesn't look gaudy at all. If this is one of your first castle builds, I cant wait to see what you do next.
The only suggestion I would make is that the walls might get to greebly near the top which takes away from great details that you have added.

Impressive build! My favorite bits are the different colored stained-glass windows; most people spam one color-scheme - which still looks good - but this seems more authentic as those windows often told a story.
