Here is the schedule in place for our LoR based events: 1.) Minifig Swap - Friday: 1:00pm 2.) Parts Draft 1 (Pirates Soldiers Fort) - Friday: 4:30pm - 5:30 pm 3.) Willards BBQ Dinner - Friday: 7:00pm - 8:00pm 4.) Parts Draft 2 (Pirates Soldiers Outpost) - Friday: 8:30pm - 9:30pm Wow, that is a full schedule but sounds like a TON of fun! I'm really jealous of you guys. Wish we had a larger LOR contingent up here at BrickCon. I will have to try to get down there sometime to hang out with you guys! So, as far as whose collab is bigger in number of minifigs, Waterloo or LoR.... It's SO on! Well....shoot! If I had known it was a competition, I would have sent a couple hundred Garhims down with the Waterloo figs!

Just popping in to say that I'm still around and kicking! I'll be up in Jersey for a week, and be back in town the day before Brickfair, so you probably won't hear from me until the actual fair. Nevertheless, I'll be there, and I'll have plenty of extra dark tan, and of course I live within 5 minutes of the convention, so we've got access to my entire lego collection should we run short on anything. Schmidt, do you have Will Chapman's email? I was going to shoot him an email to ask if he could bring any loose castle protos up to brickfair so that maybe we could purchase some- especially the new cavalry sabers, but I don't seem to have it. I remember last year he told us to email him beforehand so he'd know to bring some up. Also, Gary, got in those Shakos, have not counted them just yet, but looks to be in order. I have all the necessary pieces for the KGL, save the backpacks, and some extra heads both of which are on the way, so all should be good with those. Just one question, for some reason I was thinking the regular troops would have white epaulettes, so I ordered a whole bunch of those- do the regular KGL even need epaulettes? Or just only the gold for the officers? Also, very interested in the guidelines for the minifig swap. Rules on custom/3rd party parts, etc. I assume its going to be castle, so I've reluctantly opted not to bring a bagful of exciting stormtroopers to exchange. That said, how many collab members do we have in total? I'd like a count, if possible.

Awesome Spencer. I'll contact Will ASAP about protos and send you his email.
The Minifig swap will be twofold. A swap for customs and a swap for purists. I will hammer out the details for each one as the week comes to a close.
Additionally, I am going to host another draft on Thursday. I came across some Chima sets and rather than sell them, I thought someone might be interested in drafting.
I have 4 Razcals glider and 1 Gorzans Gorilla Striker that I got some time ago on clearance. I will be drafting and will welcome in three other buy ins at a rate of 12 dollars.
So, at 4 participants and around 900 pieces, you can average about 225 pieces each for a 12 dollar buy in.
First three come, first serve, so post in here if you want to buy in for Thursday evening draft, (will determine time later).
So, you could have the possibility of scoring in on three parts drafts at a really cheap price!
Wednesday can't get here quick enough!!!

Great, I've added you in Spencer. I'm working on a battle layout for the moment; a map that will explain where figs will be placed on the battlefield.
I will get it uploaded in a little bit.
Daniel do you have a picture of the lighthouse by chance?
I ended up building three ships, does anyone have any more? I do not have the pips to supply in the water, so unless someone else does, we will just have to forgo those.
Additionally, I am bringing some siege weapons as well. Participants are encouraged to bring some!

Schmidt You asked for a picture of the lighthouse, instead I'll give you three. (sorry about the terrible lighting.) Main: Back: Closeup of the battle Damage:
It's modular, so it should be easy to put minifigs inside. I did not tile the top platform because we should put some archers up there. I should be able to bring a troll warship, if I get it done in time. Have all the modules been built? Daniel

Man, I'm kind of irritated that I couldn't attend the whole fair again this year, or participate in the slightest. I'm going to make it my goal to attend next year. I really want to build something revolving around the Revolutionary war next year, most likely the beginning of the war/events leading up to the signing of the Deceleration of Independence. Paul Revere's ride and the Old North Church (One if by land, two if by sea) the events between and in the Battle of Lexington and Concord (The First Shots at Lexington, the Old North Bridge and search for militia supplies, Meriam's Corner, The Bloody Angle, and the March back to Boston). Would anyone be interested in doing something like this? I certainly don't have enough supplies or minifigs as of right now to make these ideas a realization but the history ins't going anywhere, so I could just hold off until I can do it justice. Also, I might have to drive up and attend the Friday night dinner. It really depends how my schedule looks Friday and Saturday. I'm aiming to attend the Sunday Public day (If I can't get that day off, I'm liable to just quit ) so I can check out all the displays with the least amount of kiddies stepping on my feet, and stick around to help deconstruct like I did last year.

Doesn't anyone like Daniel's build? I was rather proud of him when I saw it.... I really want to build something revolving around the Revolutionary war next year,....... And Joshua and I have a ton of figs which we can convert from Napoleonic Era to Revolutionary era fairly easily...we could field 100 British Grenadiers in bearskin hats and as many American Regulars as you need.

I knew I could count on you guys. I was just in the Concord/Lexington area for a few days and felt very inspired. The National Park Service there has done an absolutely fantastic job with multiple exhibits and education centers with TONS of interesting information and history. We can bang out the details in person if I can make it to Brickfair on Sunday. I've never headed a collab so we'll have to see what happens in regards to that. Which reminds me.... Doesn't anyone like Daniel's build? I was rather proud of him when I saw it.... I was going to give my praise in person , but I just "Liked" the post here! Fantastic job Daniel. It definitely fits that Loreesi style. It feels very arid even though it's surrounded by water.

If anyone has extra 1x1 light grey stud-on-one-side bricks, if you don't mind can you bring some with you? My moc collapsed last night trying to move it and I'm not sure if I'll have enough of those bricks because I has none left over. guess who's gonna be scrambling everywhere tonight and tomorrow trying to remake it?

My moc collapsed last night trying to move it and I'm not sure if I'll have enough of those bricks because I has none left over. guess who's gonna be scrambling everywhere tonight and tomorrow trying to remake it? Ouch. Sorry to hear about that, I'm afraid I don't have any of those bricks at all, otherwise I'd bring some. Sorry. How many baseplates does your collection of pips (light and dark blue) cover? Because we have enough to cover twelve thirty-two stud baseplates, so if you don't have enough we could always bring ours instead. Just a thought. Schmidt: I am bringing one very large Lenfel warship (the Marauder), and two smaller Loreesi ships. I've collected all the siege engines I have left over from last year, and they amount to two catapults, and two Shard Slings. Sadly, the siege tower didn't make it. I'll count my troops in the next day or so and then get back to you on that. Two days to BrickFair, and then we get to kick some Loreesi @$$! Cheers, Joshua
