I noticed quickly when i joined that there were builds posted on other factions threads i wanted to comment on but could not, as well i feel weird sharing non-LOR stuff in the LOR threads so i decided to create a place where anyone can chat, about their builds, whats going on in their life, plans, ect. i view this thread as being link heavy, meaning i see a build by Loreos members, i might link the post here and put my comments about it here. or if something great happens to me and i want to share it, i could post it here. Anything in life. Have at her if you think this is a great idea.

www.merlins-beard.com/post/9303/thread by Snazzerton I am amazed at this build, the comedic nature, the story, the build in general, i just love this. i personally think that life should not be taken seriously so much, and i try to bring it out in some of my builds. this is because of my job, i am an addictions counsellor. specialize in high risk, high needs clients and prevention work, work is serious, the rest of life should be fun.

Which Color (LEGO) rocks do you prefer, DBG or LBG?
LBG for me.

personally i love both of them, i use a nice healthy mix of them for everything that is going on, rocks and such. i also have some really really old "Dark Grey" that was phased out, that i really enjoy as well. so in other news, i had a client have a stroke in my office... that was fun.

I think the color of rock you prefer can vary depending on what the use is. I usually use DBG, but LBG can have its applications, especially if you are not building a structure out of LBG in the same MOC.

I think LBG can look good with layering, but I do prefer DBG.

I like DBG for rockwork, but I sometimes add in LBG or put a layer of it on top.
What's your favourite of all LEGO colours? Mine's probably dark red, but I also like lavender and burnt orange.

i am getting to be a huge fan of the burnt/earth orange colour, but honestly, they dont make enough of them... i have a masonry brick in it... i cant find where the heck it would have come from as brick link doesnt think it even exists... and i want more...
currently my favorite colour has to be working in red and dark red, as well as olive green. they seem to work really well with browns, greys, blacks,

Oh yes, olive green is lovely. Dark red is really versatile, it could easily be used in most themes. I have quite a few burnt orange 1x2 plates and 2x2 round plates, I need to use them more often.
