Hello Pyro you can sure participate. Where exactly in Canada are you? Your shipping charges would be a bit more, so the fee would be up, but considering the cost of LEGO in Canada I am still sure you would make out on the good end.
As it stands, if everyone can confirm in this thread they are in fact participating, I can start sorting. I have already received funds from lilcurt.
I am setting a goal of starting the draft by this coming Wednesday, but depending on the sorting it could be sooner.
Thanks! Sam

The draft order has been compiled, beginning with sign-up order. Using random.org, I generated five numbers for each participation, using the 5th number, so as to get a truly unique number.
Rolls proceeded like this: Schmidt rolls a 2. RBCustoms rolls a 2, then a 5. Lilcurt rolls a 4 Excalibur rolls a 5, then a 5, then a 5, then a 1. Pyro, by default, receives the remaining number of 3.
So the draft order is as follows.
1.) Excalibur 2.) Schmidt 3.) Pyro 4.) Lilcurt 5.) RBCustoms
Even with getting a 4 or 5 in the draft pick, there still is not a bad pick at all, simply because the short number of participants. The opportunity to get great loot is spread quite fair, with the high amount of lots versus the participants.

Sam - I have sent my payment this afternoon. Given that you are targeting a Wednesday start (which is great), what is your target for having the draft list out?
Thanks

Hey Rick I have your payment. I am going to start on the list in just a few minutes, so it could be as early as tonight? I'm not holding my breath though. I am usually busy all day on Sunday, so I won't have any opportunity tomorrow to get any work done on it.
I would encourage members now to look at the list on bricklink and see if there are any lots that need to be combined.
My thoughts - 1 warg per pick Should we make a minifigure a pick, or divide the lots up? I am open for either one.

i think we do 1 warg/mini per person. also, i noticed in the other draft that the entire lot was sent around to people. is there a way to avoid sending the lot to me and i pick my lots online and just pay for the shipping up to me?
or is that how the draft works. one person holds all the lots, we pick online, and pay the person that is holding the lots to ship em to us?
edit: also, where do i send my payment?

Schmidt! - I prefer the minifig parts (torsos, legs, heads) as lots, but I will go with what you want. Pyro - I think that you are confusing this with the Jambalaya which everything is send around. (or I am misunderstanding your question) In this case, Schmidt already has all the sets and if you re-read the first post the $45 includes after the selections the parts being shipped to you. Take a look at this former draft run excellently by Schmidt. You can see all the picks as they came out for a previous draft.

Schmidt. I prefer minifigs to be split in lots of seperate pieces as well. As for wargs instead of combineing a single per lot is fine. Unless you want to do one each and make the remainder a pick lot. Up to all but I would go either way. Pyro I think that you are confuseing the parts jam and the draft. The parts jam a box of parts is sent out, you then take out what you want and replace with parts of equal value and send it to the next person.
In a draft the sets are with the draft host, they split the lots into seperate pieces. At which point you choose parts via a snake style pick system 1,2,3,4,5,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4,5... etc till all lots are chosen. Make sence? Once draft is over host packages parts and ships them out. Hope this helps, as for funds PM schmidt for his info.

yeppers, i totally am, good to hear my trip to the city impacted my brain ability. on the brighter side, i did get to hit the lego store yesterday, so i not only aquired the ability to ask stupid questions, but also a second LOTR pirate ship. edit: oh and i still need to know where to send my paypal cash to. i was figureing of tossing $10 extra on top of my payment to cover the shipping as shipping to canada is normally $16 or so,

So, unfortunately RBC has had to withdraw from the draft, so we have an open #5 spot. Who wants it?
