Thanks as always for the helpful answers, suggestions, and of course friendliness gentlemen. Any feedback on a timeframe for me officially joining Garheim? Should I wait until my first order of Lego arrives within two weeks? Also, since I'm building a Lego collection from nothing, I'm sorry I won't be of much help to my brothers in the Garheim faction-my first order will be a starting group of soldiers and I won't have much to build with otherwise for a little while-hopefully the troops do something to bolster their ranks and help in some way!..

As long as you have enough parts to build scenes, you don't necessarily have to have a big army to start with. Your first builds don't have to have your armies.

Hello again. Work has been exceptionally busy so it looks like i'm going to be trying to buy my first bit of lego and hopefully put something together early to mid September. Are there any recommendations for first builds that will best help out my future brothers of Garheim? This way I can make sure my first purchases are geared toward accomplishing tasks, which will prove beneficial to the faction. Does it provide any help/points to Garheim if I post a small simple landscape with some troops clustered on it? Is there something better (but still small with the potentially limited bricks I will have) to create first? Thanks...

I know how it feels to have limited bricks. I would start off by yeah, just doing a landscape with soldiers and your character on it as you CIC (Charavter introduction challenge). Check out the faction thread, we may have a new LC up soon.

Build what YOU like to build! This game is about telling the story that you want to tell, so don't worry about being a big contributor right off the bat. Just take some time to learn your way around and chip in on challenges and such as your time and collection allows. This is a no-pressure environment!
