Great haul(s) Curt! The Parasian Restaurant is an awesome pick-up. I have read some review and it looks like a lovely build with tons of useful pieces. Good PAB hauls as well, I am really interested to see how many studs fit into one cup and await your count! I think a large probably fits about 3,500? We'll have to wait and see! Sir Valiant~

You poor folks, Oregon's pick a brick lets you overflow the cup and just dump it in the bag, and you can keep the cups too.

Its up to the management on how you do it. However I am sure that you cant over fill it by much #1. And #2 if word of what you just said gets to the powers that be there will be a policy crack down and what you say will no longer be true. This is why I also ask that when you purchase a case of lego, dont post what you paid. Alot of stores wont sell by the case because someone states that they saw person a only paid xyz on a forum. Where there store charges abc, but they only want to pay xyz. When this happens we all lose in the long run. So please post wisely.

Sadly, I have no wall near me That Parisian Restaraunt is awesome, I really want to pick one of those up. At full price, it is still a great price per piece ratio, especially when you factor in that about 300 of those pieces are Olive Green, and a bunch more are Dark Blue. Great set

Dont be afraid to post what you have on your wall All I am saying is dont post how much a case is or that your store lets you do certine things. Thats the main reason we lost the ability to buy multiples of the same part from the minifig bins. An yes I am contemplateing getting a second perisian to part out into my castle stuff.

Nice haul... though next time i would stick with large PAB, you can get more bang for your buck. It sucks from the sorting stand point though. I will ne updateing my count thread shortly...

Most recent haul... The mini figs were for my daughter but they had dwarf legs in the bins so I grabbed 3 sets. gray and a blue. The mixels are my wife's, and let me tell you I picked up some today at target to part out. Great light trans blue cheese, and other stuff. Picked up the castle army package because of the prices on bricklink for some stuff I was looking for. The PAB Is light trans blue Gems, 1x1 1x2 Light blue bricks for castle cottages, and 1x1 round light bley plates. And the Deal for me was the Lake town set! got it for a great price that wasn't MSRP due to box damage. All in all great haul I think.

all the lego stores in my area are not in my area Wait, they're in your area, except not in your area? ?? Anyway, my latest haul is what had been shipped to my house while I was gone in England for a year. I did get reunited with my collection that I had before moving away, but I already had that, so it doesn't count. Here is my haul: Loot! What arrived while I was gone by Brickninja, on Flickr (Not pictured: a UHA from BL that I couldn't find for a while)

I remember reading somewhere that it was actually the opposite. The smaller cups were most cost effective in what the held compared to the price. Can't remember where and when I read that, so prices and mileage may vary in your area. Or not in your area.

Okay Guys I just did an experiment.... So The PAB cups what is the true volume! Step one; Start with 4 cups water. Step 2 Fill small cup to brim, As you can see here it holds exactly 2 cups. Step 3 Fill large Cup, As you can see it took all four Cups and still has room to spare! The extra room equates about 1/3 cup. I also filled the Lid and came to a volume of 1/2 cup in the lid. So the Findings you ask? If you add the total in the cup with the total in the lid (as some stores will let you fill cup and the lid doesn't have to snap shut) you get 2.5 cups in the small. An you get a little under 5 cups in a large. So the Winner is? the large cup. It is still a better value overall. hope this helps
