Thanks for changing the rules, 'cause I'd really like to try this, but the set chosen doesn't appeal to me very much. The price is good, and I really like the 'figs, but the rest feels pretty lame to me. Personally, (and I'm using "personally" because I know that we you can't redo all of this just to make me happy) I'd rather do another set, namely a Lord of the Rings one. Ironically, the two ones I would of suggested are the two people have already done (79006 Council of Elrond and 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army), but both of them are running at $25ish on Walmart, and have some great pieces which even someone who has already done them might want another crack at.

Biggest problem with doing those two sets is most of us have drafted them multiple times. Gate house as a whole may not apeal to you as a whole but take a look at the parts breakdown, it has some very desirable parts. Also i highly doubt minifigs will be kept togeather. We will most likely split into torsos, legs, head, etc... it is acctually a very good set to draft. Just my 2 cents.

I can understand that people not wanting to do them again after already doing them multiple times and I can understand that a lot of you fellas like yellow heads over light flesh and like to go for the classic feel when building, which these Castle sets supply the right pieces for, but I think that for sets like this Castle one, most of the parts (including 'figs) can be found pretty cheap on Bricklink, with the quantities you can get in a draft. That's why, personally, I think that sets that are a copyrighted theme such as Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Wars, etc. suit a draft better because their pieces and minifigures are more unique (and expensive), and are harder to get in large quantities. So, in conclusion, I think that this Castle set isn't a bad set in general, but just isn't draft material and that other sets (from themes I've already mention) work much better.

Schmidt, could you possibly reserve a spot for me as well? There is a slight chance that I won't be able to do it, however.
Thanks.

Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to point out that Walmart has it for just under $20 USD right now. However it is online only!

Front post updated with members of draft.
If everyone is ok with it, my brother says he wants to participate in the draft, but he doesn't have a FLICKR account. Would there be any objection to him just picking his lots through my account?
Let me know when you get the chance, he would be our 6th participant.

Ok I will add his name to the list.
We've got 6 signees right now, and I'm waiting to hear back from thedonald13.
I make the suggestion that we try to start by June 23rd at the latest. Any objections/suggestions?
