My entry into the vignette category for the GC7, and the conclusion of Andared's journey...
His Last Wish:

"Andared, stay with me Andared!" Kyle shook him violently, trying to bring the dying man out of his stupor.
"Kyle..." Andared said in a raspy voice. "Don't waste your time on me. Save the city."
"No, I'm going to get you help," Kyle said, though he knew Andared was beyond saving.
"Don't be a fool!" Andared choked on the words as he coughed out flecks of blood. "Just...just do one thing for me..."
"What, Andared? Name it, and I swear I shall do it."
"Set me on a boat in the Everlyn's Tears lake. I...I should like to see the Wandering Woods...just one more time..."
Kyle nodded as he struggled to fight back tears. He leaned forward and kissed Andared on the forehead, and whispered into his ear.
"For great Lenfald."
Andared made the faintest of smiles, as he drew his last breath. It was time to go home...

Yes, this is the end for Andared, I'm afraid. I can't tell you how thankful and blessed I've been by everyone who has read and followed this long journey. I want to clarify that I am NOT leaving LoR. I will be creating a new character. This was a very difficult decision for me, but as time passed I grew very frustrated and tired of Andared as a character. As the story moved along, I kept feeling restricted and uninterested in his personality and backstory. I tried to give him a "fresh start" by introducing the Black Dragons, but I soon realized that the problem simply couldn't be fixed that easily. In the end, I decided that Andared had run his course, and the best way to continue would be with a clean slate. I look forward to shaping and molding the new character I have in mind, and I hope that you all will follow and enjoy what is to come.
For the last time...
