Battle of Durrough: Cobblestone BridgeHere is my GC7 Restricted Entry. It's a continuation of my Unrestricted Entry, The Black Swan. Please click on the picture to read the story for more action. The story flows in coordination with Sir Haymar Glen and his builds for Lenfald taking back the City of Durrough. Cheers! Gary

I love the way you set the bridge at an angle. That gave more space to make it bigger, but it also creates visual interest in the scene. Nice job.

This, (as usual) is awesome work Gary. The angle the bridge sits at is awesome, and the crosses in the bridge are a great detail. Altogether, I love this. Great work!

Awesome build, man! I really like the aesthetics of the angled bridge and the cobbled look and the cross design is lovely. My favorite bit is the white bricks showing turbulence in the river; ingenious detail

Your style is very, clean, detailed, and finished looking, and this exemplifies it perfectly. You've managed to create a sense of action and excitement, while maintaining a very aesthetically pleasing MOC. I really appreciate that, because definitely "much to learn, I still have" regarding that. Example would be my "Raid" MOC anyway, that cross technique is excellent, mind if I borrowed it sometime?

I actually built the bridge first and found that moving straight across the plate was both boring and didn't set up the shot I wanted. I love those angled plates, LEGO doesn't make nearly enough of them.

Thank you very much Graham, Stephen, adn Brickninja, credit for that cross technique must go to my 13 year old son Daniel, who was playing with my tablescrap and came up with it in less than 5 minutes! I then recessed it into the bridge. Please feel free to copy it, no one "owns" a technique in LEGO
