This is a Lenfald monthly build for April, which sets the stage for my GC7 entries: Battle of Durrough: The Black Swan (Unrestricted); Duel at Cobblestone Bridge (Restricted); To Our Fallen (Vignette). It is a collaboration in story (but not builds) with Sir Haymar Glen, who will build other parts of the City of Durrough in Lenfald's battle to take back our city from the Queen. ------------ The story is too long to read here, please click on the picture and read it on FLICKR, I think you will enjoy the humor and intrigue. Cheers!

I had a feeling that Caelan would be retaking Durrough. I love seeing collaborations between builders, and since yours and JB's building styles have so many similarities, I have no doubt that this will be an excellent one.
Can't wait to see the results!

I love this build Gary. Nice olive underbrush and a vibrant red tree in the center, nice work! As Andared is, I too am excited for this collaboration. It great also to see another three entries that will come up for the GCVII. Also, I think I may know why your two building styles are so similar...
Happy Building, Sir Valiant~

As always, wonderful work Caelan. The base is fantastic, your use of olive green foliage is perfect! Love that tree design, I might borrow that in the future. Looking forward to your stories, as they are one of the best!

This looks great! Your extensive olive green leaf collection is the cause of much jealousy in the castle community.

I love seeing collaborations between builders, and since yours and JB's building styles have so many similarities, I have no doubt that this will be an excellent one. Can't wait to see the results! You know it! Both Sir Haymar Glen and I are doing big hairy street battles in separate parts of the city. I love this build Gary. Nice olive underbrush and a vibrant red tree in the center, nice work! As Andared is, I too am excited for this collaboration. It great also to see another three entries that will come up for the GCVII. Also, I think I may know why your two building styles are so similar... Sir Valiant~ Thank you very much Sir Valiant, yes...genes are an amazing thing, aren't they? As always, wonderful work Caelan. The base is fantastic, your use of olive green foliage is perfect! Love that tree design, I might borrow that in the future. Looking forward to your stories, as they are one of the best! Thank you so much Matthew, really appreciate comments on my stories. Feel free to take any technique you want, no one "owns" them. This looks great! Your extensive olive green leaf collection is the cause of much jealousy in the castle community. Hilarious! One word: LUGBULK - LEGO's one-time-a-year benny for LEGO User Groups. I went foliage-crazy last year. This year I went dark green plate crazy...can't wait for them to arrive in July-ish. Awesome work with the foliage! Awesome MOC! I have to agree that the olive green leaves are fantastic! Thanks guys!

Dark green plates should be very useful indeed. If I may ask, which LUG are you part of?

I like this build, in particular the way you created the undergrowth. Good job!
