Btw, tell me if I'm right but it appears unnecessary to leave Roawia the whole explorers guild, correct? Neat guild btw . Thanks! You are correct, all explorers guild tasks can be completed within the confines of Roawia if you wish!

Yeah the 2 builds per month rule isn't related to the number of available guilds at all, so I don't see that rule being changed right now. Is it two builds a month per guild? So if you work on two guilds you can do four? Or is it two to split between them.

But now that we have 7 guilds, I think having a 2 per month limit makes it hard if you want to try to get all of them. Perhaps a 2 per month per guild would be easier?

Honestly, the lack of quality/effort for some entries has been disappointing lately. The idea of the guilds was to be a showcase for your building talent, and I haven't consistently seen that from everyone. I will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. If I feel like you put a lot of time / effort into your first two builds each month, then you can request permission for a variance to build a third and maybe a fourth. I just don't want people rushing through them just to "get them done".

Yeah, I have realized the my Assassin's A1 was pretty pathetic. I'm planning on redoing once I can make the time.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been much participation in the Assassins Guild or the Naval Guild. Once I make Journeyman in the Heroes Guild I'll be back to alternating between Heroes builds and Assassins builds (the Captain of the Valeguard can't very well let it be known that he is an assassin - plus he has to make time for that ) but I don't plan on rushing any guild entries whatsoever. I'll admit to a few low-effort one-afternoon freebuilds here and there but I never try to rush a guild, LC, or GC build.

I agree, considering there are no deadlines ever for these guild builds it should really be something you guys focus and try hard on, not just to get them done like a LC or GC. I think the case-by-case would be best for those that really impress or try their best to for each build they enter. Of course there are different building levels here but I think what we want to see is time put in and improvement over the builds because there are lots of resources out there to help with increasing your building skill! And sure, having the title of "Master of the ____ Guild" is cool but when people see that title and go to your build entries to see what you did, don't you want them to go "Wow! that person did a really good job!" and they proceed to look at ALL your builds and maybe even get inspired... Over them thinking "oh that person just rushed to get it done" and then they dont look further into your builds and move on completely. Personally I try and hope to get that feedback out of all my guild builds and try to do a good a job as I can and is mainly why it takes me forever to actually do them

LoR Heroes Guild Task A2: Your hero on an adventure First Encounter As the dark night neared Pavel's great horse grew tired. The prince settled Baron and dismounted. He picked what seemed like a nice spot where he tied his steed to a nearby pine tree. After that he came upon a heap of surprisingly dry wood. A short while later Pavel stretched out before a roaring fire. Just as he began to drift off Baron let out a terrified neigh. Cursing, Pavel rose to his feet and approached the frightened beast. He pronounced a few mysterious words in elvish which were meant to calm horses. It worked, but the horse still gave nervous glances at the pile of snow. Pavel returned to the dancing fire. As he sat down he reached for his small leather bag. Out of it the prince protruded a piece of smoked ham. He gobbled it up and drank it down with some melted snow from his helmet. Soon the warrior grew bored so he began to hum a little merry tune. After a while it got louder and louder and soon Pavel was singing the proud song of the Stargorodian pirates. Pavel had a deep voice which echoed around the place. As he neared the end of it the ground shuddered and out of the before mention heap of snow emerged a great mountain troll! Its sleepy, angry eyes promised no good end to whoever woke it up. It accustomed to the sunlight and looked around. Immediately it noticed a man wearing something shiny brandishing a sharp-looking stick. The beast fiercely roared and started to climb out of the cavern. Pavel stared at the troll in amazement, he never saw one of these before, not that you can see much from behind the city walls. Immediately, he recalled his beast-slaying theory lessons back in Stargorod. He was forming up a plan when his horse Baron galloped up to him. Despite the fear the steed mustered all the courage it had left to stay with his master. Pavel nudged Baron to go again and again but the horse didn't move. Another roar from the troll announcing his successful exit from the cavern finally scared the poor beast of its wits and it ran to a safe distance where it observed the oncoming fight. Pavel knew that horsemen are no good for troll-fighting as you need your own legs to dodge and move around. The troll heavily charged at the prince but Pavel moved to the right and made a cut at its belly, it's softest part. The blade made a small scar but nothing significant. The troll turned around and charged a second time emitting a scary roar. Pavel went to his left and slashed at the troll's right hand. Once again, it left a small scar. Now after testing the beast's skin strength and concluding uselessness of using the blade, Pavel followed the memory guidebook and took the sword by the blade with two hands, making an improvised war hammer. At that moment the troll's fist reached Pavel and he flew into a nearby small evergreen tree. It somehow cushioned his landing and the bruised yet undefeated man stood up. Again, the fearsome troll ran at him. Pavel thrusted the pommel of his sword with all his force into the beast's throat. Afterwards he quickly swung at its nose area. There was a loud crack as the cross-guard impacted the troll's nose. It howled in pain and swung its arms around in a desperate attempt to know the enemy down but Pavel was nimble on his feet and evaded the troll's hands. He went behind the troll and hit him with the cross-guard in the back and went to the right. The troll turned around yet at that moment Pavel hit it behind the knee and it collapsed. Taking his sword by the handle he drove the sword tip into troll's eye right to its brain. The beast shook in agony, but in a few seconds it stopped and kept still, never to move again. Right by the book, thought the prince as he fell down with exhaustion. www.flickr.com/photos/78084141@N08/19358111456/in/dateposted/

LoR Heroes Guild Task A2: Your hero on an adventure First Encounter..... Glorfindel- do you have a link to either your flickr or a build post here on MB to use for reference for your guild hall build? In order to properly log your guild hall entry in the first post we will need a link to somewhere other than this thread. Im pretty sure that was included in the new uploading rules. Thanks!

Here is my final updated entry to the Mage's Guild (I never updated my initial post those months ago when I had submitted it) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mages Guild - Task M3 "Sea Monster Ahoy!" CCXXII - Sea Monster's Ahoy!, LoR Mages Guild M3 by SSchmidt--, on Flickr Here is a link to the build: www.flickr.com/photos/92878490@N03/15740589375/in/dateposted/Maldrake was destroyed. His fortress had been sieged and his head taken by the hands of High General Mythrog. Silas, commanding a contingent of knights alongside Prince Rogell, son of Galainir, left the battle to plot their next steps.
Sir Silas of the Shade, now owning a large ship, gathered his remaining knights and headed home. It was during their travels home, that an abysmal terror of the deep would show its scaly form. Out of nowhere, the sea monster began terrorizing the boat, slamming its tail into the ship and lunging its long neck to snap up the defenders.
Sir Silas ran to the bow and began mustering his magical powers together for the terrible confrontation taking place.
Would Galainir's knights find themselves at the bottom of the ocean, or would the crusaders prevail?

Heroes Guild A3 - Saving the villager Just yesterday Pavel crossed the border between Garheim and Lenfald. He now rode on his trusty steed baron through the grassy plains, forward to adventure! Bigger groups of trees got more common throughout the Lenfel landscape. The country was enjoyable so far. Suddenly the prince heard shouts, rustles and footsteps along the ground. Just when Pavel decided to dismiss the noise as a wild boar hunt, a loud cry for help echoed from a small patch of trees. Pavel put on his helm and quietly but swiftly rode up. He peeked through the foliage of the tree to see three armed men chasing a peasant with a lumber axe. From their gear Pavel judged them to be bandits. At that moment the peasant tripped on a root and fell. The bandits quickly approached him as he stood up and leaned on a tree. He brandished his axe with a look of despair and fear on his face. With a loud whistle the Stargorodian prince charged at the three men. He cleaved through the helmet of one armed with a partisan as another outlaw, presumably the leader, tried to pierce Pavel's plate armour. The cuirass deflected the spear point and the prince cut through him as well. Meanwhile the peasant somehow defended himself against the blows of a shield-bearing bandit. He parried the man's cutlass with the axe head but the rim of the shield already hit the commoner's ribs. Pavel charged at the remaining outlaw and swiped his head off with one swing. The prince dismounted and took care of the peasant. He hauled the man on his horse and questioned him where his village was. www.flickr.com/photos/78084141@N08/20259976826/in/dateposted/
