I also agree that keeping track of an added layer of mechanics is the biggest hurdle we will face with the proposed changes, and that's why Cuahchic has been working on some "NPC" auto-tabulation of entries. Ah, ok, I missed the part about Cuahchic doing that. I was going to offer that we might find value in using a system/alternate connection method that would allow us to do that. My day job is that of a web developer, and I've often thought a lot on how LOR could be managed/controlled better by a more-different web-application then a forum. It wouldn't be hard to spin up a Laravel powered community portal, or something more API centric -- I don't know, just a thought :-)

Hey, if you and Cuahchic want to chat about that, I'm open to ideas. Even if it's just a site that we use solely for posting/tracking entries, whatever makes it work easily is something we'd consider!

If you have experience with Python, feel free to contribute. I would try and discourage having a separate forum to manage this part of the game because the forum is where the action happens. The idea is to scrape the posts players would be making anyway (and it's not that difficult, really) to avoid them duplicating work. They just need to understand the agreed posting structure and it will automatically be picked up.

I'd rather keep everything here also. BUT I'm open to suggestions if there's something that will work better, was what I meant I really appreciate you guys and your efforts on this! Looking forward to a big revitalization this summer in LOR!

I agree, do you know if there is anything I can help do to keep this ball rolling. I have small bits of time here and there and want to help
