I know that this was the sample that started the challenge, but sample was missing the three most important features of the yellow castle. - The drawbridge
- The hinges that allowed the different configurations
- The corner stones
The pink crownies are always shown as the owner of the castle, but I always wondered was the life was like for the other factions and as a child having limited pieces they lived in an identical castle.   |

OK, we have a winner! Thanks to Sean E for helping with the judging. We actually had very different grades for the entries, with Sean favoring some of the more intricate designs, and me leaning more toward a simpler, cleaner style that was more closely related to the original example. In the end, the winner by the narrowest of margins is Mitah! Congrats, Mitah Val Karem . Please PM me how you'd like to receive your prize of $5 USD toward a future Lego purchase (I believe you're international, yes?) Thanks to all for the entries.
