Reading the write-up is interesting. Provides a look at LEGO's branding, marketing and demographic appeal aspects. Interesting that it says "Boys will find this interesting" instead of something more ambiguous like "Children" or "Kids".

Yes probably another reason TLG doesn't like leaked prelims, I'm sure the PC brigade would jump all over that. But I still read most of it thinking 'what the heck are you talking about?'. Don't know whether something was lost in translation or just ridiculous business jargon. Almost seems cut and pasted "yup we've fulfilled that category, stick that sentence in there". That said we have to remember these are prelims and will hopefully be fleshed out by the time they're released. If they do a battle pack I'd be tempted by the figs.

So we can all agree we want more Johnny Thunder in our lives?

Personally, I'd much rather have a Power Miners revival. But I could do with Johnny Thunder.

Just give me a Wolfpack line and I'll be happy.

I do have to agree on both accounts, Power Miners (and Adventurers) are pretty much my nostalgia childhood themes Castle aside, I never got to experience Wolfpack so a revival of them would be great too.

They would sell so well considering we all loved them as kids (or adults) so the next and older generations would buy them in mass quantities.

Not just Johnny Thunder but Harry Storm! Can't forget the pilot I loved the Adventurers sets all the way from the desert to the dinosaurs. Baron Von Baron! I think the mining sets I remember most were called Rock Raiders - they had some fun figs and the rock-beasts would make for cool monsters to use in LoR. My favorite childhood sets were Wolfpack, Woodsmen, Black Falcons, Fright Knights, and the Aquazone series. Bring back Aquazone! Did anyone play the LEGO Racers video game for Nintendo64? The second hardest racing game to beat besides Episode One Podracer. I remember shouting at my TV because of the Alien level and its stupid tractor beam. EDIT: Oh yeah, and those Nexo Knights sets look terrible. What is TLG thinking? I want them to bring back the LotR sets in stores - I missed out on all of them right before I ended my dark ages.

I don't think they're terrible but there could be some improvement in the builds and the designs of the builds too. Also some of those armor pieces (mainly the helmets) could be used in LoR as well as some of the villain figs. This is also meant to be targeted to kids so that would be ages 3-6 or 3-7

I played Lego Racers on the PC! The tractor beam and Rocket Racer are the worst!
