Sir Caelan Munro hey, no worries, I mess up things all the time. Remember the ol' "5 words" incident?

Great update! The presentation of Triphian's character still seems a bit...well, biased, but then again, I'm a Lenfel, so my interpretation is likely to be equally biased. Interesting to see where this is heading!

Interesting to see where this is heading! I quite agree. It really seems there's some negative bias towards our somewhat beloved leader. If this is indeed the way our High-lord conducts himself among the other leaders I have the feeling some nobles will not put up with this for long. I smell another challenge for the throne of Lenfald.

Mitah, you will see why Triphian is so concerned about what is taking place in the next update. And you are partially right: change is coming...

I for one kinda like that Triphian is always grumpy. Make all us other Lenfald look good.

And you are partially right: change is coming... Can't way to see the next update! Triphian seems more than just concerned though. Ever since the update where the 3 leaders were imprisoned in Galainir's tower, he has seemed more like Prince Jarius than the Triphian of old. I know that I always pictured the three leaders like this: Jhirian Endrik: Coarse, no-nonsense, stern, and valorous/honorable Prince Jarius: Cunning/clever, ambitious, hot-tempered, arrogant, but also of nobility High Lord Triphian: Mild, level-headed, tactful, and more of a common man (in fact, for those who know their Lenfel history, that's exactly what he was before he was elected as High Lord). Great with people, and charismatic, but not a man of exceptional intelligence or brilliance. A practical man. But in recent chapters his character has reflected the traits of Jarius more than his own. In my opinion, his portrayal has seemed pretty negative, so that's what causes the concern. What exactly is going on with our High Lord? Has he been replaced with a stunt double? Is he being controlled by magic or blackmail? His dislike of Chartres is reasonable, but he has displayed outright hostility and hatred toward him at times when there was no provocation for doing so. Perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye? I await further updates!

I agree that there seems to be something fishy going on with Triphian. This and the story for Gary's Prosperity once more point in that direction. .. And I like turtles!^You wascawy wabbit *cough* KC member! But to be fair I do actually like turtles

Thank you guys. The work you put in to all of this is apparent and greatly appreciated.
For you Lenfald people, Triphian is indeed acting poorly but that isn't the only thing strange going on. The Jarl took an arrow to the face and apparently only needs a cane and an eye-patch; impressive even for a Garhim, Jarius has seemed waaaay too comfortable with the way things have been playing out for quite some time, and Chartres is now moonstruck by a girl grieving the woman that plunged us into this mess. Our FOs have a lot of stuff to play with right now and I know they won't disappoint.

The Times They Are a-Changin' ... don't worry, this behaviour has not gone unnoticed and the Lenfels will follow a leader who shows poor judgement in words and actions.

Dance puppets, dance! I assure you all, we have a lot of fun writing these stories, and even moreso in seeing everyone speculate and think things out. It really encourages us to put as much effort possible into the story and game. I really hope everyone is pleased, and I think the next few announcements are going to stir a lot of interest.

Wow. I REALLY need to catch up on the previous episodes. I have to confess to skim reading some of the previous GC outcomes but it seems I missed some vital plot points and characters! (Galanair not dead? Prince Rogel? Princess Emmaline??)
My prediction for the next LoR update is.....
Roawia... IN SPACE! It turns out Galanair hasn't died but has managed to transport her body into the distant future where they use space technology to resurrect her, except with a robotic body. She then returns to Roawia to wreak havoc on her enemies. To prevent this the Jarl, Triphian and Jarius must travel into the future to prevent her resurrection. Unfortunately they get trapped and have to instead lead a futuristic rebellion by uniting the lands of Roawia in the year 3052.
Everyone gets to play the great-great-great-great-great-great and so on descendant of their previous LoR character, but in a futuristic post-apoc version of Roawia.
