Phew! Got an entry in! The Lone Shepherd - GC IX Restricted The lone shepherd herded his goats towards the small stream, content now that the war was over. The terrible war that had ruined the land was finally over, peace had come over the country. The soldier became the shepherd, content with the peace he could now enjoy. Also, good to be back building in LCC. It has been a while!

My entry into the Hero's guild.... it's a slow start after nearly a year of not building.... Hero's guild Journeyman 3 entry As sir Kejtar was surveying his surroundings for a good water source, he saw a blue shiny glimmer between the white lilies. As he followed the water to its source he noticed something unusual - the water stopped at the base of the old oak. Correctin - it stopped at the trunk that was grown into the base of the old oak.... wait.. trunk? grown into the tree? ? Of course as luck would have it, his trusty companions where nowhere nearby and he had to do all the heavy lifting himself.... oh well..... at last though the fruits of his labor were rewarded and he freed the trunk. With a mighty strike of his sword he got it opened and he found a wizards wand, a key, crystal and a chalice and even though they seem to a degree like a random group of item he knew somehow that they all go together.... (follow the picture to the remainder of the pictures)

This was to be a quick GC entry, but alas my timing was pretty poor Therefore, a freebuild for January: Rebuilding the barnsTheir enemies defeated, the weary Lenfel troops slowly made their way back home. As they past the remnants of burnt-out villages, they saw signs of rebuilding, as well as reminders of the terrible price that Lenfald's citizens had had to pay.

TIME TO VOTE, LENFELS...for our Faction Finalists for GC IX - The Recovery. The deadline is January 19, 2015 at 12am (Sunday night). Please click the links below to have your voice be heard: LENFALD RESTRICTED VOTELENFALD UNRESTRICTED VOTELENFALD VIGNETTE: With only one entry from Lenfald in this category, BrickMadness’ Chief Paladin is automatically our Faction Finalist here. - Personal points have been updated, to include all GC IX entries and Becheman's and Ludzik’s Heroes Guild builds and BrickMadness’ free build from December and Becheman’s from January (sure wish your render software hadn’t died, that would have make a great GC IX entry….) Thank you to all who participated in GC IX. Our participation is down a bit and I hope we can recover some of our non-active members and get new members as well. If you know of any good builder who is not already in an online builders group, please invite them to join Lenfald.
Cheers, and remember to vote in both these polls above, and when the time comes in the final GC IX vote when it's up.

Good job on the entry's guys. I am sad that I won by mere participation, it would have been really fun to have a hard fought vignette vote but, I understand how busy this time of year is for so many of us. If I hadn't done my entry's before Christmas I wouldn't probably have gotten as many in.
I am wondering Caelen, can I still add the Champion of Lenfald to my signature?

Fellow Lenfels!1. Personal Points have been updated, to include 2 free builds for BrickMadness, 1 for Mpoh98 (great to see you at it Matthew) and 1 for shadowknight. 2. I will announce another LC next weekend. It will be to build a natural wonder of Lenfald, in case you are wondering, and want to begin thinking about it. 3. GC IX faction votes are in, and representing Lenfald will be: - For Vignette: BrickMadness - Chief Paladin- For Restricted: Sir Haymar Glen - A Somber Duty- For Unrestricted: Sir Caelan Munro - Prosperity Once MoreBoth BrickMadness and Sir Haymar can now add Champion of Lenfald to their signature blocks. Voting for the GC amongst the 4 factions should begin very soon. I will have links up ASAP. In the meantime, get excited about our future here! The King’s Council is very actively talking big changes which will make LoR more exciting, and encourage building. Cheers, Happy MLK Jr Day for those in the US.

Faction: Lenfald Character name: Eolhelm Arngoth New LoR Character: Eolhelm Arngoth by lego3364, on Flickr Eolhelm Arngoth is a Ranger of Northern Lenfald, When he was a young boy, His parents and sister were killed when Orcs and Wargs from Garheim strayed into Lenfald. Taking an Oath to keep the Wargs out of Lenfald Eolhelm patrols Northern Lenfald hunting any stary Wargs that dare stray into Lenfald. Whenever he kills a Warg, he'll stab his sword into it's forhead. Because that was how his Father had died. CIC: LoR: Lenfald CIC, Hunting the Wargs LoR: Lenfald CIC, Hunting the Wargs by lego3364, on Flickr The horse's hooves clattered along the dirt road, pursuing the lone Warg. Eolhelm ducked and dodged the low tree branches as het let arrow after arrow fly trying to hit the warg. The Warg was smart and fast, dodgeing Eolhelm's arrows. Up ahead Eolhelm saw The Lone Peak, smiling he kept up is diversion keeping the Warg's attention on him. As the road curved around the peak, Eolhelm let loose a final arrow and slowed his horse. The Warg galloped past. An Elvish War cry was heard and Captain Ethron jumped from the peak, Hurling his spear into the warg's side. The Warg ran a few final feet and then fell dead onto the grass. Ethron pulled his spear from the Warg's side, and wiped the tip with his cloak. Eolhelm smiled, his trap had worked. He walked over the warg, and stabbed his sword into the Waqrg's forehead. The elf turned to Eolhelm, "Ready to head back?" Eolhelm looked at Warg one more time. "Yes, Let's go."

Lenfels! Very important announcements below, please read.- We have a new Faction Liaison! As Disco86 is involved in other arenas and has stepped down, BrickMadness will now take his place as FL. Remember that the FL is available for you to address your concerns (if you have any), as well as assist me in running the Best Faction in LoR. So you would PM BrickMadness if you have any issue you want addressed. Please congratulate him on this move. - We also have a new member, Eolhelm Arngoth, a “Warghunter” in the lands west of the Dragonscale mountains. Please welcome Lego3364 to our faction team. - Voting for GC IX has begun, PLEASE VOTE! Remember, these GCs are so important for LoR’s storyline and the game itself. Links are below: Unrestricted Voting LinkRestricted Voting Link Vignette Voting Link - It pays to build and enter your MOCs in LoR: Did you know that if you increase your personal points 50 or more in a calendar year you are eligible for a drawing of prizes? AK and I have contributed LEGO sets and figs to this effort. For 2014, our Lenfald builders who qualified are BrickMadness (with a stunning 166 points in 9 months!), Becheman (+58 points for 2014) and Sir Haymar Glen (+52). See the drawing announcement here in this link. - Announcing LC 17, Natural Wonders of LenfaldYour mission: build a noteworthy natural wonder which you might find in our lands: flora only found in Lenfald, a beautiful waterfall, interesting rock formations or terrain, a mysterious cave, geysers, a natural well, visible fossils, landmarks, etc. If you need some inspiration, click on these links: Giants Causeway; Swallow Falls; Iceland Landscape; Grand Prismatic Spring; Beach SinkholeSize: This doesn’t have to be a large build; something like flora or unique terrain doesn’t have to be a huge MOC. Points are 1 for vignette, 2 for greater than vignette but smaller than 32x32, and 3 for 32x32 or larger. Winner(s): Entry with the most votes adds the same points they built for (+1, +2 or +3), and I will choose a select few to go into our Faction Intro page for the Wonders of Lenfald section. So you can get a permanent spot on our main page.Deadline: Midnight on Sunday 15 February, so there’s plenty of time to get this done. Cheers everyone, and remember to VOTE in GC IX.
