Sir Valiant~ I surely will post my "lot", but that will probaly take some time. Congrats to all competitors, especially to the other two finalists!

Hey guys just an update. We are sorting out shipping, and the banner duties at the moment. I will contact the winners if we need more info.

Anyone else who doesn't see the banner properly? For me it starts at the right side of the door and the text reads "MERLIN'S BEARD FOR". (and yes, I have checked that my zoom level is the default)

Gideon Yes, I have problems as well, it says, "MERLIN'S BEARD FORU". Just the 'm' is left out for me. Otherwise it looks nice. Sir Valiant~

Yep, I've noticed that as well. I made the swap right before bed last night so didn't have time to check how it displayed at different screen resolutions. I will tinker with it this evening to fine tune it, but wanted to get the winning entry up before the weekend was over! Thanks for the feedback

Ok! Another feedback is that it seems to mee that the picture has lost a lot of quality, like it has been downsized first and then scaled up again? I would recommend using the original photo (which I assume has enough resolution to span the width of the forum with some spare) and then scale it only once.

On my screen the banner is too small, so it is repeated in the edges.

I actually downloaded the largest image size available off of Flickr. Maybe Titus has a higher resolution version he can email to me or something.

I cannot see the top of the banner, and it is repeated in the edges. But I don't know how it can be solved, the forum can be seen in any width. How does other forums solve this?
