Great to see the story progress, although I feel a plot twist must be coming soon. Maldrake may not be quite so easily defeated.
One thing that did strike me as odd was that Triphian seemed to be acting very out of character. In all the previous developments he's never been shown to be bloodthirsty or hot-headed. I don't really mind if he is (though I would say that the stereotypical Lenfel tends to be much more passive), it just seemed like a very sudden change in his personality.
Every chapter leaves you hungry for more!
