^Makes my 'sitting at a computer designing stuff' job seem even more mundane! Picking up a few comment from the thread. I'd consider my self relatively purist, in that I'm not keen on 'illegal' connections, and prefer everything to be held nicely in place (even when posing figures in a moc I like them to be attached to a stud or jumper plate - though this be mainly due to my annoyance at things moving out of place when trying to photograph). Though I do use 3rd party accessories, I, similarly to AK, prefer to use them sparingly and only the ones that fit the lego-style aesthetic, and perhaps fill a gap where TLG haven't produced something appropriate. I'm not keen on heavily modded, painted, 3rd party accessoried 'minifigs' as much as I might admire the skills that have been used to create them. To me they've left the realm of lego fig and become something else (Morgan190 is probably one of the few exceptions to this rule for me, in that his stuff still manages to maintain a minfig 'essence' www.flickr.com/photos/morgan19/)

Schmidt Nah, not problems, just a lot of free periods in college where I have nothing to do. Actually, I probably do have problems.

sad news... looks like my lego will need to be packed up for awhile, since my house is going on the market and apparently there is too much lego and it detracts from my grand room in the basement... so it is getting packed up for awhile... luckily i have a interview tomorrow for the same job in a new town, so if i get it i will be moving and we will see what that brings... booooooooooo....

interview done, i think i rocked it, should know in two days if things go to the next stage which is an in person meet up... if that goes well, then i will be fully into the position before christmas, hopefully my house sells fast as gong so i can buy a new home in my new community. my father said i can store stuff at his place which is more central to the province anyhow, so regardless where i wind up, i will have an easier move.

pyro5050 Yes, nice one! If you feel it's gone well when you come out it must be a good sign.

it was a phone interview but now i am heading down to meet them in person on the 25th, i have never had a face to face meeting where i did not get a job. so i am excited to go. no official offer yet, but it is a lateral transfer south 600 km in my province, so same job, same organization, same pay, everything, just new location. fresh start for the wife and i. gotta go meet with my realtor tomorrow night and am packing lego/video games/tools this weekend... house should be listed monday...
