These posters recently opped up in my flickr feed courtesy of Hoth Bricks. They're character pack expansions for the Lego Hobbit computer game (and super cute!) How much would you like to see them in reality!

I hope and pray that these are released as a CMF line someday!

These would be sweet! We definitely need a Hoibbit/LoTR battle pack or a CMF Lego Game series!

I certainly don't work for TLG, but I heard the reason TLG didn't make the battle packs is due to licensing issues. That somehow, the licensing forbids the sale of "action figures" and that the powers that be decided TLG battle packs are similar to "action figures." Then again, rumors are always rumors, so who knows how much stock to put into it.
On the topic of the bonus characters, are those only for the PC version? Surely the console versions with have additional DLC you can purchase that includes this content?

Well, now that LEGO is making Simpsons licensed Collectible Minifigures, I feel like they are going to make more licensed collectible minifigs.

Well, now that LEGO is making Simpsons licensed Collectible Minifigures, I feel like they are going to make more licensed collectible minifigs. Possibly, but I doubt it will be LOTR/Hobbit. If anything it feels that these licences are on the way out. It's probably a topic for another thread but a CMF wave for their Marvel/DC licence, Star Wars (?) or some other Disney Property are probably more likely. Seeing as Disney own Marvel and Star Wars perhaps we'll get some crazy CMF wave featuring all the different Disney properties.
