I admit I was in error in the two leaf parts, but the point is still valid that there are multiple other pieces that are in both sets. Also can we talk about the parts that should be partial lots? Alright. Sure, like what? To give some specifics. I propose Combine Dark Bluish Gray Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel Base + Dark Bluish Gray Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel Top (This would be one pick) Combine Black Turntable 2 x 2 Plate, Base + Light Bluish Gray Turntable 2 x 2 Plate, Top (This would be one pick) Split into 2 lots eachBlack Minifig, Headgear Hair Orc with Medium Dark Flesh Ears Pattern Bright Light Yellow Minifig, Headgear Hair Long Straight with Light Flesh Elf Ears Pattern (This should be 3 lots instead of 2)Dark Brown Hips and Legs with Dark Green Elven Robe Pattern Dark Brown Torso LotR Armor Crude with Bones, Spikes and Dark Brown Straps Pattern (Gundabad Orc) / Medium Dark Flesh Arms / Reddish Brown Hands Medium Dark Flesh Minifig, Head LotR Gundabad Orc Pattern - Stud Recessed Reddish Brown Hips and Medium Dark Flesh Legs with Reddish Brown Loincloth and White Spikes Pattern Black Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Stud on 1 Side Just so we know, the ones that I have found that are in both sets are: Black Plate 1 x 2 Black Plate 2 x 4 Black Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole Black Slope 30 1 x 2 x 2/3 Black Wedge, Plate 4 x 4 Cut Corner Dark Bluish Gray Brick 1 x 1 Dark Brown Brick, Modified 1 x 2 Log Reddish Brown Appendage Spiky / Bionicle Spine Reddish Brown Brick 1 x 4 Reddish Brown Plate 1 x 2 Some of the others that look very similar have different part numbers (skulls for example) As always this is for discussion

you're overcomplicating this..... regarding the minifigs... I vote that they are split into components and each minifig's components make up separate lots (i.e. if a torso duplicates for two minifigs, because they are separate minifigs those torsos become their own respective lot). For parts like part number 6000853, combine them... there is exactly 1 in each set... if someone has the time, (I might be able to do it early next week), the part numbers can be placed in an excel spreadsheet and we can see if there are (and how many) any other duplicates that are worth combining. oh yeah, it'd be best (when referring to parts) to use both descriptions as well as specific part numbers from the manuals... there is no ambiguity then as to what's being talked about. cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6035621.pdfcache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6073506.pdf

Seems like we basically said the same thing. I tried to be specific because when the language you used was used in a previous draft and a long debate started which I was trying to avoid. I was asked for specifics so I tried to give them.

When we drafted the Mirkwood Elf Army at Brickworld we combined the torso and legs of a fig if the printing was supposed to go together, as they kind of lose some of their usefulness if they are separated. Instead we split the combo into several lots. So instead of having one lot of 8 torsos and one lot of 8 legs from the same fig, I think two lots of 4 torsos and 4 legs (or four lots of 2 torsos + 2 legs as they are valuable parts?) might be worth considering?

I do not think that there are any that have to go together. I would be very much against that in this draft.

Have a spider set, just need to get the ambush set. Will ship in a couple weeks.

Also spliting mini figs as above is fine with me. As to the rest of the parts single lots make more sence the only reaso to split the lots would be to break up expensive parts to make it more fair. However most parts in theae sets are common. As to hair, its up to you but a single grouping is fine by me, by part of course.

Because if parts I would like to disagree with you as I think having duplicate lots of (for example) www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3020would be somewhat annoying...

Hey all, I ordered the rest of the sets on Monday. They are scheduled to come in this afternoon. I'm still awaiting sets from Schmidt and lilcurt, though.

Rbc, where did you order sets from and what was the cost? I ordered them from ToysRUs. Orders of $50.00 or more get FREE SHIPPING. The total cost for both sets is $48.98, but there is a $5.39 tax charge as well, (or at least there was for me).

That way what will be left is sorting it out prior to shipping? Honestly I would go either way. However I dont think the draft should start untill all sets are in hand and photo of lots taken. I was not expecting on starting this draft untill sept at the earliest. Its up to RBC however. I dont see a need to rush the start of the draft. As a participant yes the waiting can suck, but as an orginizer/host take the time to get everything done right.

Give me at least another week to finish sorting the 10-12 sets that I do have. I plan on doing a majority of sorting this weekend!
