Besides Castle, I'm also really fond of Pirates and pulp action themes in the Adventurers/Indiana Jones/Monster Hunters vein. Really, though, I'd pick up anything if it had sufficiently interesting pieces/mini-figures in it.

Teenage mutant ninja turtles........love them even, and since they are a new theme its easy to keep on top of the collection, after tmnt Id say i collect superheroes after that, I use to collect star wars but its such a broad and old theme its depressing not being able to keep up. I have all lotr and hobbit except for the new, I love the chima thread and am waiting for them to invade roawia(please AK we need to be invaded by man beasts after the queen is dethroned) but collection runs deep. the only thing I havent dabbled in is probably city.

When I started out, I went a bit crazy, basically collecting everything and anything that I thought was fun.
Mainly figures, a lot of which I still have.
- Yellow Star Wars main characters - Yellow Harry Potter main characters (mostly sold) - Wolfpack - Forestmen - Every classic pirate variant (apart from the Spanish stuff) - Series 1-11 CMFs (and the Olympic ones) - Main Superheroes figures - Chefs... - Every officially released colour variant of Wizard... - Most animals...

I don't have too many animals, actually, except for lots of the usual dogs and horses. How many have LEGO made in their time, I wonder?

Woah, that's a lot! I guessed there would be quite a few, so you didn't totally take me by surprise.

I collect a broad range of themes actually, since I build in various genres. Castle and Tolkien are awesome, they have some great parts. Although from Tolkien I only have Gandalf arrives, UHA, and Lake town, although I plan to get council of Elrond and MEA. Also I would like to get some more city, some of the great vehicles appeal to me. I also like Star Wars, Galaxy Squad, and the occasional Chima. When Bionicle was still out I really like it and got a bunch of those, and I still say it's better than Hero Factory.

My concern Andy are those ostriches. What in the world are you going to do with those?

Schmidt, I'm sure he will build a scene with the Loressi riding to war on them. Didn't you know that the ostrich is their most famous war beast?
By the way, nice collection of animals, that sure is a lot! When I was collecting the Aqua Raiders theme, the brick-built animals really stood out to me. The Giant Shark was my Favourite.

(Brickninja talking now, for some reason when I quote it doesn't do a other layer so it's looks like it's part of David's post) I have a glow-in-the-dark octopus from an agents set a few years ago. Beside that, though, it's just a dog, several horses, a crow, a chicken and, a seagull as far as I can remember(from my lego back in the US)

Well apart from 'new' Castle I have collected the following: - Classic Castle (childhood). - Classic Space (childhood). - Town (childhood). - Technic (childhood). - Star Wars (only Hoth sets). - LOTR/Hobbit. - Minifigure Series. I like my minifigs. - A bit of Galaxy Squad (I was missing my Classic Space back in Australia). - Custom WW2 Tanks and Minifigs(Brickarms, Brickmania etc). Oops now that I look at it I have more LEGO than I realised....... I just need to get back to Australia and ship my childhood LEGO to Sweden......

Oh my goodness, I spend WAY to much money on those minifigs, they're so awesome. I must have around 50 now.

If we are including minifigs, I've purchased multiples of every castle-useful CMF since series 2 or 3, I think. I'm sort of a semi-army builder. Not crazy like some people who have 300 of each faction, but I'm up to around 300-350 combined troops in my Garheim army
