I was browsing this Brickset page when I came across the Chima sets I presume will be released somewhere between June and August this year. Wow. Honestly, that word sums up each and every one of these sets. They're absolutely brilliant. Take Laval's Fire Lion, for example. Whatever that creature is, it looks amazing, and would fit into any fantasy battle scene. Next, there's Maula's Ice Mammoth, full of great pieces and surely proof that LEGO can build a decent, elephant-type beast. Oliphant, anyone? What I'm trying to say is that these new Chima sets are probably better than any we've seen yet. I'm a big fan of the Chima theme overall, and am very excited about these upcoming releases. Browse through Brickset to look at more, and tell me what you think!

I've never had any Chima set myself, but those looks awesome! Maybe I'll get one or two when they're released

I've got a couple speedorz plus a croc legend beast (which I really liked for ten bucks!) and these new ones look even better (though I must say that the red good guys looks strange.) My favorite would be Cragger's Fire Striker! I'd also consider getting Sir Fangar's Ice Fortress which looks cool! Oh and "That creature" seem to be a large mammoth.

The parts and sets are really cool looking, but some of the character designs look a bit strange IMO. I might get one of these.

I think the trans blue skeletal parts look neat for a Garheim MOC. The big mammoth figs would be a cool Garheim tribe as well. I have a feeling the whole "fire vs. ice" theme is going to be a boon for Garheim builders in general. Lots of great white parts for snow and ice. Just look at the trans blue armor, claws, minifig arms, and slopes, as well as that broken ice on the green plate. Lots of great bricklink potential here. The sabertooth faction might even be a neat fantasy clan to build up for Garheim. Maybe they could be mixed with the existing Chima wolves.

However, what I feel I'm much more pumped for, are the new Agents sets! I loved the originals, and I think the new one look twice as good! Definitely getting at least 2.

Yeah when I first saw the prelim images for these a few weeks back I immediately thought LOTR Oliphant. Surely the mammoth is an indicator one might be on the horizon.

They wouldn't even have to change the design that much! AK_Brickster Yes, some of these parts would be perfect for Garheim builders. Those mammoth/monster things would actually look pretty cool heading an Outlaw army from Garheim. I have the image from The Return of the King in mind, where the trolls enter Minas Tirith after the gates have been broken down.

WHOA! Those pieces have some great potential...with the Mamoth I could see someone making a Skeleton Ice Dragon.

I wonder if they will be releasing another Chima video game anytime soon? The first one wasn't too bad, and it coincided with the first (or second) wave of Chima LEGO sets I believe. I would like for them to make another one.

I get the feeling that the only browns there are the normal and dark versions. I think it may be the light of the photo.

I think he might be right. Looks kind of like a sandy-olive-brown color. The big round dishes and the slope on the side of the head, for example.

Oh, that brown! Yeah, it could well be a new colour, or it could be tan, which I first thought it was. Let's hope so!
