Mage Journeyman 1: Evading detection by those who hate magic Cutting It Close
Ot knew that his forthcoming journey would be difficult, so he continued to refine his magical skills in order to prepare. He didn't know what might come in handy when he finally got to the Magic Isles, so he brewed and distilled all manner of magical properties into the various foods at his disposal. However, he had been in Dalmanutha long enough that some of the city folk began to recognize him and knew where he was staying. And Ot was running out of explanations for the smells and sounds coming from his room at the inn. On several occasions, city guards would walk by, perhaps intrigued by the smell of food, but they would undoubtedly be displeased if they discovered an old man making potions in secrecy...

LoR/CCCXII - Over the Walls! by Brick_Ninja!, on Flickr Here's my M3 entry to the Hero's Guild(which I have now mastered), "Your character training a young lad/lass in the ways of a hero." It's about how Marek Luinmor' s character became my character's squire (see one post above this) and he is taken on his first mission, to route out a pocket of surviving Royalists.

Heroes Guild Master's Build 2 - Kroth's New HomeHeroes Guild M2 - Kroth's New HomeKroth Stonegrinder arrived at his new home for the first time. His squire, Lanseril Snowmantle is waiting at the front door with the key. "It must be nice to see your plans finally completed." said the squire. "I can certainly see the basis of my plans here, but what happened to the yard, the roof and the front door." said Kroth in a mellow voice that Lanseril knew was just hiding some boiling emotion. "You had to expect that the members of the Queen's military that was living here would finish it to his own taste. At least we had time to clean out the inside and change the flag." said the squire

Hero's guild Journeyman 3 entry As sir Kejtar was surveying his surroundings for a good water source, he saw a blue shiny glimmer between the white lilies. As he followed the water to its source he noticed something unusual - the water stopped at the base of the old oak. Correctin - it stopped at the trunk that was grown into the base of the old oak.... wait.. trunk? grown into the tree? ? Of course as luck would have it, his trusty companions where nowhere nearby and he had to do all the heavy lifting himself.... oh well..... at last though the fruits of his labor were rewarded and he freed the trunk. With a mighty strike of his sword he got it opened and he found a wizards wand, a key, crystal and a chalice and even though they seem to a degree like a random group of item he knew somehow that they all go together.... (follow the picture to the remainder of the pictures)

My A1 entry for the Hero's Guild -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-Greenbough Manor-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- As Captain of the Valeguard, I have been granted tithes and land wherever I wish and as such I have purchased a plot on the shores of Black Loch, just outside the city walls. It has taken me the better part of Autumn and well into winter, but the construction of my house is finally complete. Erin Njordson agreed to be my bride earlier in the Fall and we have since moved into our new home. In honor of the Pinewoods of Orevale, we have dubbed it Greenbough Manor.
I am reluctant to leave my bride to be, but I have just received a missive from my friend Baelion of Lenfald and honor among friends dictates that I must journey south to his aid. - Diary of Caedric Moore, 13 January -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Comments and criticism welcome! Ronin

My A2 entry for the Heroes Guild. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Southward to Stonehedge -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Dappled sunlight shone through the branches overhead as the tall grass waved in the soft morning breeze. The path Caedric walked along was hard-packed from decades of travel, telltale wagon ruts etched into the clay and here and there the clear sign of a hoof print. He had been traveling south from his home in Garheim - south into Lenfald - to the summons of his friend Baelion. The forest was full of life and indeed Caedric's falcon snapped her head this way and that, locking on to every sound. It would not be long until Caedric reached the village of Stonehedge, a few days walk north of Stoneborough, and there he would come to his friend's aid.-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Comments and criticism welcome! Not terribly often. We typically wait until there are several new entries since the last update.
Honestly, we are probably due for one. I will have to see if I can round up Jman...

A Slave of Fire -- LoR Mages Guild J3Chanting and the flicker of torches emanated from deep within the halls of the monastery. A powerful spell was being cast, one that would allow Drakk to reach a new height of magical power but at a dark cost. The armor Drakk had received from the necromancer was quite powerful. Nearly indestructible, the runes of along its surface spoke of the power of the phoenix. With extensive research in his library on the lost civilization of its origin, Drakk discovered that the armor was crafted to voluntarily house the spirit of a phoenix. Once imbued, the benevolent creature could lend its strength and wisdom to the wearer. However, Drakk had plans to corrupt this purpose to suit his need of greater power. He would use his power to summon D'Khaz Dor, a powerful demon of flame, and trap it within the armor. Despite the warnings his elder monks had given him about dealing with denizens of the lower planes and the corrupting influence they bring with them, Drakk had eyes only for power. And so he began the ritual...

LOR- Naval Guild Applicant, Build 1 - Show your character and crew building or acquiring a ship (whether it be a pirate band, outlaw group, army faction, merchant crew, etc) Read more: merlins-beard.com/thread/18/lor-guild-hall#ixzz3RCXkkZisLoR- Naval Guild Apprentise Lvl 1 build! by Pyro5050, The last week had been good for Phy. Heading slightly more north from the natural harbor he had found he came across a goblin camp. They were easily swayed to not cook and eat him after the goblin leader lost his left arm. they decided to make Phy their leader when the right arm left the former leaders body. it was when the former goblin leader fell dead into the waters crashing on the cliffs that the goblins decided they should go where Phy wanted them. The goblins knew of a few orks out and about in the cliffs. They sent a messenger to gather at the harbor Phy sent the goblins to gather some dwarfs from the nearby town, slaves would be needed. After a day all but one of the goblins returned. "we found some dwarfs, not very old, but weak of mind. Turktu is bringing them in later. they are in chains." "good, now we need a ship, and a dock. Get harvesting some lumber!!" Bellowed Phy, as he applied the finishing touches to the blueprints for his new ship. The next few days flew by. the hull was coming along great, the dock was being built. Tools and weapons have been getting plundered in the twilight hours from nearby farms and settlements. A young child happened by the site, alone and cold. he now worked on a boat in the harbor. the new slaves arrived as the goblins continued their hard work. a new ork recruit also arrived on the goblin transport barge they built rapidly. Things were progressing perfectly fine. Ork Commander Shakfang Shaksog inspects the four new dwarf prisoners as Phy watches on. by Pyro5050, on Flickr The dock continues to be built, as sharks prowl the water below. the goblins are hard at work. by Pyro5050, on Flickr the new ork recruit Gordreg arrives on the barge the goblins had built. the goblins had looted along the coast, the spoils also arrived. by Pyro5050, on Flickr The young boy, affectionately named Pots helps around the camp. the goblins accepted the boy easily. by Pyro5050, on Flickr the crane lifts crates of weapons and supplies into the hull, no injuries yet. by Pyro5050, on Flickr And with this I am an applicant to the Naval Guild. edit: i would also like to know what colours i would be using for my standards for naval builds?
