Merchants Guild Apprentice 3Haydar Khaldoon is traveling through a wide expanse of desert, on a narrow path scarcely visible among the dunes. The knowledge as a desert tribesman of the secret wells along these paths enables him to deliver his goods much faster than most of his competitors.

And you were worried about your entry only containing desert - very nice work! Also, congrats on being blogged

Question. Will it now require members to complete six guilds to receive guild master's challenge?

Good question. I think we will keep it at 4 for now. Maybe there will be an additional challenge/title for those who master all 6 though!

We will leave him up so that the builds remain for others to look at, but he can be moved to "deceased" like we did with Schmidt's old character.

Here's my A3 for the Assassins' Guild, too -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-Glinting in the Firelight-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- "Free," I thought. The coals of a dying cookfire smoldered before me, just as the last embers of the War in the North with Queen Galainir's troops were smothered by the might of the Garhims, Lenfels, and Loreesi. "Garheim is free." Suddenly, a shadow detached itself from the mountainside and landed with a crunch in the snow beside me. I had started strapping my dagger across my lower back as Amura had shown me so that it could be drawn quicker and it was out in a flash as I whirled to face the new threat. "Calm yourself, Northman. I mean you no harm," the shadow said, stepping into the firelight. Black and blood red adorned his armor; it was clear this stranger was a member of the Assassins' Guild, the same as Ferwin Exiph had been. "It is not every day that someone can get so close to me without my knowing, Assassin," I said without moving, my eyes never leaving my target. "What is it you Do intend?" "To congratulate you, of course," the Assassin replied with a grin. "Congratulate me for what?" "Oh, don't be coy, Caedric. We've been watching you closely. Your exploits haven't gone unnoticed... neither have your talents. An position has just opened in our organization - I'm here to offer you a job." Reaching behind him, the Assassin pulled out a bundle wrapped in black and blood red cloth and began uncoiling the fabric, revealing the blade it concealed. "Here," he said as he handed it to me. "The blade of a true assassin." Nearly four feet long and made of folded northern steel, the blade felt perfectly balanced as it glimmered and glinted in the firelight. Only one edge was sharpened but it was razor keen and tapered at the end to an incredible point. "Not as clumsy as a greatsword but with more reach than a dagger - the perfect weapon for... well, what it is we do. I understand you are Greyshadow; the last of your line, aside from your sister. It's not just a family name, you know," the Assassin said, peeling off his gloves and wringing his hands by the coals. "The Greyshadow were Assassins - in the guild, I mean. Renowned for their stealth, they shamed even the most practiced of other Assassins and none were better with a blade. This is their weapon, I'm told, and I am to deliver it with terms." "There are only a few sects left of the Old Order; mainly Dark Brotherhood, as you can see. We've already contacted Amura - years ago. Now... well, here I am. The two of you are to start training and recruiting immediately to rebuild the Greyshadow. Good luck," the Assassin said as he walked off into the night. "Shadows hide you, brother." -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- My A3 entry for the Assassins' Guild in our role playing game The Lands of Roawia over at www.merlins-beard.com NOW I'm an Apprentice Comments and Critique welcome! Mages Guild - Apprentice 1 Discovering the Ability
After Ot's extraordinary feat to save his life and secure his place in the manor, he wanted to know just how far he could push himself. Long after midnight in the cellar kitchen, Ot let his hands do the work, purely by instinct. He muddled absurd combinations of herbs and extracted the essences of things he had never before considered when following a recipe. But the result was incredible. The porridge he made for his own supper glowed with a heavenly light, and as he ate it, he felt younger and stronger than he had in years. He was not sure where this gift of his had come from, but it was more than just skill. Were the rumors in his old town true? Ot certainly felt as though he was doing magic as he worked the ingredients.

Mages Guild - Apprentice 2 Practicing the Art
After weeks of making fine meals for Lord Ano, Ot had free reign to order any ingredient he wanted, so long as the Lord was able to eat it! In came barrels of exotic fruits from the Loreesi coasts and aromatic spices from the desert traders. Ot had access to things he never did at the inn. And when everyone else in the manor had gone to bed, he barricaded himself in the store room to see what mystical properties he could divine from reducing, muddling, and mixing different combinations of all things. Ot made potion after potion in secret, honing his craft all the time.

Mages Apprentice 3 - A Magical Feat (and some more of Ot's story)
One afternoon Ot visited the village market to buy supplies. Above the bustle of the busy street, a cry rang out. An old woman was calling from a window. "My granddaughter! Someone help, she has taken a turn for the worst!" Without hesitating, Ot rushed up to see if he could be of assistance.
The girl was in bad shape. As she lay shaking and fevered, Ot sprang into action. Using what he had on hand, he concentrated as he extracted the juice from berries, powdered silvery fish scales, and combined the pulp of a root in an attempt to make a potion that would ease the girl's symptoms. As soon as the girl began to drink, her body relaxed and her pained wails subsided. The old woman thanked Ot profusely.
"How can I ever thank you?" the woman cried. "You have saved her life. Your family must be blessed by the gods to have a healer such as you in their midst." "My family..." Ot trailed off. As he spoke the words, an image rushed into his mind that he recalled so vividly he could not believe it had been there all along. His daughter. He remembered her and the house they lived in on the Magical Isles. How long ago was it? What happened to her? Ot snapped back to reality and spoke. "My dear woman, your girl is well enough for you to take care of her now. I must leave here immediately."

Hey AK_Brickster and jman44, do the studs on the banner necessarily have to be studs? Could they, say, be 1x1 square plates, or cheese slopes?
