I just had two days of open houses on my condo, so I've been totally wiped out.

I've got the next update about 50% done; I had hit some writer's block and, to tell the truth, I got distracted by the LEGO speeder bike contest. Heresy I know, but sometimes I just have to build something other than castle to break things up. Anyway, that's done, so the update is my next LEGO project. Should be out soon.

I'm here and I agree with you Sir Daren, free time is small and limited.

The update is up! This one finally goes to the heart of many of the storyline's mysteries over the past year, it's not to be missed.

It’s funny cause I noticed the same thing. Just hadn’t had a chance to say something.

I moved into my new house April 1st, so while I'm still checking the forum regularly, I haven't had anything new on the Lego front to really contribute, having not really had any time to even cruise TBB or other fan sites. Feel free to speak up and get the discussions moving along again! I'm looking forward to hopefully a summer with a lot of building from everyone!

Sorry, deep into building right now. I have a LEGO show mid-July and have started a significant sized new project(a 5 building Arabic city square). I will get some WIP pics up, as I have hit a creative roadblock and could use some help!
Also, Summer Joust starts up soon, so the community will pick up shortly. Maybe the admins around hear will be able to get a GC up to coincide with it ?

I just had a thought... How about a calendar? For me I find it hard to gauge progression cause everything feels like it happens all within the same year. For instance when the queen ruled, how long was her rule of terror. How many years of suffering did the people suffer. It wouldn't make sense if everything inly happened within a few months time.
Ex the queen took over in the year 263 and in her fourth year of ruling she revealed her evilness, the following year and a half, the combine roawian alliance/rebellion puts the queen on her back foot. August 268 the Queen is overthrown and her forces are forever scattered.
Vs.
The Queen took over in January, in March she reveals her villainy, in June the Roawian Rebellion is formed, in September the Queens rule is over, then in December Lenfald secede from Roawia.
The former feels more realistic and organized, also addinf a calendar can help with players storytelling of their events and background stories. I think it'll add some subyle depth to the game.

The End of all things -
Is it time to wrap up LOR? One final event/challenge to finish on a high rather than let it fizzle out. It seems to me that people who were previously in a position to drive it forward are now or currently busy with life or other projects.
Always seems better to me to end something, draw a line under it, and give the opportunity to start something new rather than keep trying to drag things out. LOR has been great, but has a lot of baggage and backstory that makes it pretty much impenetrable to anyone new, or anyone who's dropped out and wants to get back in.
Having finally read the latest update perhaps one final challenge, where nations rise up against the Areani to restore freedom to Roawia could be on the cards? Especially if people's characters suffered a 50/50 chance of death.

If we're all ready to call it I would be up for contributing a build. LCC/LoR was a big part of my LEGO building experience over the past few years and I would have to see it off properly. And for those who still want something to build for, don't despair! We are still working on the upcoming project and I can promise you it will be amazing.

It may be time. I've enjoyed the heck out of LCC/LoR and have loved all of the builds we've all created through the years. It's a shame to see it go, but all momentum built in this thread seems to have died out; real life got the better of us, huh? I'll always have time during the winter months to contribute, and if the game were revamped - or this new one, which sounds interesting - I'm sure I could find time to put out smaller builds, but it seems that those necessary to keep LoR going don't have the time or don't want to, so it may be time to give 'er a final send-off.

I've been mostly a lurker the past couple years due to high school and now work. While I don't have the time to commit to revitalizing LoR. I think I'd be able to get a final farewell build done to a game that first got me interested in the medieval/fantasy genre if that was what the rest of the community decided on. Cheers guys

I have loved this game, and sad that a). I didn't get into it earlier, and b). that I don't have more time now or then to contribute as much as desired. The past storyline still remains as a testiment to what a cool game this was! And I am also looking forward to the game mentioned by Mark
