There's a crowd funding campaign going on right now for flexible "Lego Tape" that has raised over $550k as of this posting, and has only been live for under 3 days! I've ordered a couple rolls, thinking it might be a fun addition to my Lego room.

Yes will be interesting to see people's applications. I'm not quite convinced by the video in terms of what they claim it can do, or why someone would want to do some of those things! But it seems inexpensive enough to take a gamble on :-)

Also interested to see whether it would be helpful in displaying minifigs in a frame. Either as a strip or cut up. The orange might be distracting though.

They have a ton of color options available, unlocked as stretch goals. Gray, black, and white are all options, I think.
I think it will be nice just for simple applications like having a place on the wall to hold my brick separators. Also you could stick a small piece to your dashboard / top of your monitor / ect. for holding a minifig. Right now, my construction sig-fig is mounted via a CMF plate and scotch tape to the top of my work monitor. A piece of this flex tape would be much more elegant.
