Looks like you won! Nicely done, now sometime we'll have to brawl again as we are one to one just now .

Kingdomviewbricks where do you get those helmets? Bricklink has them listed, but not what set they are from, and I am just curious (since there are +1K being sold on Bricklink and I have never seen them before recent)

Looks like you won! Nicely done, now sometime we'll have to brawl again as we are one to one just now . Ha ha! I have my revenge! Thanks, and good brawl! Yes, we will. Kingdomviewbricks where do you get those helmets? Bricklink has them listed, but not what set they are from, and I am just curious (since there are +1K being sold on Bricklink and I have never seen them before recent) I got them from Bricklink. As for where they came originally, that is an intriguing question, to which I don't really know the answer either. I can confirm that they are genuine LEGO and not painted or anything. As you say, they don't come in any sets according to the BL catalog. I suppose they are a Q-part (piece produced for in-house use but never issued in sets,) but that doesn't explain why are there so many of them available. Any of our resident minifig experts have any idea?

If I had to venture a guess, it would be that they are the same ones as the CMF conquistador, but without the metallic gold coating (if you have any of the gold ones, you can look on the inside to see that it is tan underneath).
I'd guess that these maybe found their way into build-a-fig bins at official retail stores, or leaked out of a manufacturing facility unpainted, as I've found a few (mostly Chinese) sellers who seem to have access to unprinted versions of parts (I have a bunch of unprinted Gimli and Theoden helms from such a seller).
