So I've been planning a second character and his/her storyline. I was hoping I could get some feedback on the idea. Some background info: When I posted my army picture I included a group known as the Garheim Inquisitors. I have been really inspired and I really want to create a character from them. The summary of what they do is pretty much protecting Garheim from supernatural creatures and magic. To do this they use silver and bronze, metals associated with defense against supernatural creatures for the most part. Salt and blessed water/oil also act as weapons against spirits. They also use a new metal dark iron which negates the affects of magic and a bit of magic themselves. I picture a branch of this group existing for all mainland factions. The story would evolve a lot of lore and develop many locations. This is what I have developed so far, any thoughts or suggestions?

I plan to include demons, werewolves, vampires, spirits, and a few other creatures of that style. Also fauns, centaurs, Minotaurs, sirens, jinnis or genies, changeling, golems, draugrs and things like that. Somethings will coincide with standard ideas like silver for werewolves but vampires would involve decapitation.
If anyone has a second character spot feel free to use this. I think it could set up some nice collaborations.

Sounds cool! I love the detailed organizations that are made within the factions! And this one sounds really neat, as after all, (wait for it) no one expects the Garheim Inquisition! Okay, if anyone wants to have a brawl competition over who can best depict a scene beating up Sir Daren, go ahead, it was worth it In all seriousness, this is really neat idea for players who want builds with more magic orientations, although in theory it would primarily be against magic, but still cool!

Funny thing was, I would used the dark gray and black colored swords and other weapons for combating ghost and the like in this moc I made (but don't have enough pieces to thoroughly detail/finish)

I've been binge watching a show and I started get ideas of how it could play into LoR. I think this organization would be different because it is multi-regional, so there is a Loreos and Lenfald branch as well. I thought it was something pretty uncommon so why not give it a shot. I can imagine each branch being wealthy and powerful, they collect fees for hunting the monsters, spirits and witches, then also receive donations from the leadership of each region. Then recruiting is done through birth and volunteering. Most Inquisitors would have some run in that would drive them to join, and it's not only males.

Well I love the ideas you've thrown out here. Though both my characters have been used right now. I'd be interested to use such a story line sometime in the future.

I tried planning it so any story could pretty much lead into it. I hope the idea can take off eventually. It can help explain the lore too.

I really like the idea To be honest, I had planned on introducing both werewolves and vampires into my characters' stories at some point - it would be cool to have some lore developed for the idea already and the way you described it sounds neat. I say go for it.

I want to post a thing that would be like the book they use for referencing monsters but don't really have a spot for it.

It would be a combination of both posts, I just have to think of a name for it and a good layout for it. Then I can start assembling pages for it.
