So, one of the games I play is brikwars, which is basically a lego wargame. Unfortunately most of my friends aren't really into too much wargaming, or legos. However, I have found that keeping squads small allows for shorter games and thus keep my friends interested. My best friend told me that if I made him a squad of nuclear radiated skeletal astronauts he would play with me more often. So, I acquiesced and this is the result. The name, idea and description are my friends, but the design is mine- tell me what you think! Description: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They come without warning and leave nothing but a measurable increase in the background radiation in their wake. They strike without any pattern or plan that can be discerned. They ride the solar winds as a school of piranhas rides the river currents. They have been dead for a long, long time. Who were they? Were they early astronauts mutated by the unnatural radiations of space? Were they an experiment gone wrong? They appear to have been human, the skeletons visible beneath their tattered space suits making that quite clear. But if that is the case, why does radiocarbon dating of the bones of the rare slain specimen show them to be 1.3 billion years old? They have no names for themselves. They have no names for anything. But we do. We call them Plutonauts.

Those are great! "Nuclear radiated skeletal astronauts" it's quite an uncommon thing to ask for, but the result is definetely awesome

Cool! I've been wondering, how do you do a Brikwar? I haven't been able to find out how.

Wow, talk about eye-popping! Those guys are truly inspired. (Can you tell us how your friend came up with the idea of irradiated skeletons in the first place?!) Nice squad!

Thanks for all the comments! Sorry for taking so long to reply, but I'll try to answer all questions here: Brikwars is a lego wargame. Its a lot of fun, and I don't really think I can describe it too well, so I'll just link the instructions: www.brikwars.com/rules/2010/1.htmIn terms of other squads, I have made quite a few, off the top of my head I've done: Inquisition of Orm (Space Inquisition), Mythic Order (Medieval Magical Order), Emerald Wolves (Medieval Mercenary Company), Forces of Mayhem (basically an army of Battle Jesters), Space Banditos, Barbarians (average medieval barbarians), The Forgotten (age old undead skeleton army). Eventually, I'll take pictures of them all! My friend came up with the idea while playing a brikwar using my medieval skeleton squad. He prefers space to castle, and he liked the skeletons, so that was his idea for space-ifying them.
