I know if I post mine won't compare to these amazing builds! Nonsense, man - whatever you build we'd be glad to see. Just be sure to do your best GC XII - Bignette - Economy - Garheim-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- The Streets of Orevale-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-The streets were abuzz with life as the Commander of the Valeguard crunched across the snowy cobbles of Drake's Well. His return to Orevale had been uneventful; despite the retinue of guards and the dragon's skull they toted in his wake, only a few heads turned as they passed. The citizens of the town were too busy talking and shopping at the many new brightly-colored market stalls that had sprung up in the commander's absence to notice his return.
"Spiced wine!" "Goat's meat!" "Hot pies! Get your hot fruit pies!", the vendors called, plying their wares to the people of the mountain town as the smell of pies cooling on windowsills assailed their nostrils. All of the usual Garhim fares were present, but what caught Caedric's attention and that of his men was the proliferation of many unknown and colorful fruits, the most notable of which were oddly-shaped and had funny names like "banana" and "pineapple", though Caedric had lived around pine trees his whole life and had never seen anything remotely resembling a fruit come off of one.-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- As always, comments and criticism are welcome and appreciated! Ronin

CG XII - Exploration A group of Garhims travel to the southwestern reaches of Garheim. Here they lay the beginnings of a new harbor from which to sail westward.

GC XII - Exploration - Garheim
The militia recruit sat down near the water to continue his map. At fort hilltop every militia must prove he can survive in the wilderness by going out for a week with enough food for two simple days. He must map out terrain to show he has skills in mapping and must find someone to come back with him and train to join the Garheim guard like himself. The recruit lets his horse drink and then continues on to civilization as his next task is to find another recruit to replace what he had and is training for.

All, due to the rapidly approaching deadline, feedback from our members, and how few entries there have been so far, the KC has decided on an extension of the deadline for GC XII to the end of the month, March 31st. So, you will have an extra 11 days to get more wonderful builds in. Also, I would like to remind our members that according to the Global Storyline, Garheim and Loreos have not yet reached the Great Western Isles, so buildings there are a bit premature... Since both factions are doing well in this GC so far, that may change...remember, these GCs in LoR 2.0 now do much to determine the direction of the storyline

What a great way to start with a GC entry! For your entry, you may wish to post a picture. I’m assuming that haven’t been able to work out how, it can be confusing at first! – if you do in fact know, please forgive my intrusion and ignore my advice below!! Edit your above post and copy and past the below BB code from flickr into in where you want your picture to appear. Then remove the four * s I placed in the code(I put them there so you would see the code, not a picture.) [*url=https://flic.kr/p/Fa8CMi][img*]https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1714/25701251931_0ebe543681.jpg[/img*][/url*] In the future, to obtain a BBcode from flickr, click the ‘share photo’ button, make sure BBcode is selected, select a size, then copy and past the URL into your post. Hope this helps, if you have any difficulties, just ask, plenty of people here to help!!

GC XII – Economy – Lenfald Restricted A Grand Experiment on Flickr Following a comment made by Lord Jemile at the fox hunt held to celebrate his return from New Lenfald, Caelyan Nagatomi did some research. She sent letters to many of her friends and acquaintances around the kingdom asking for information concerning pony-sized wooly beasts in New Lenfald. It wasn't long before rumors, tall tales, and stories became poring in about the beasts. There were sailors' tales of seeing herds of oversized sheep grazing in distant meadows. There were stories told by explorers who were surprised to see an animal so soft and defenseless in the wilds of a strange new country. Each new tidbit convinced Caelyan that large wooly animals lived on New Lenfald. With all the information she had gathered Caelyan decided to give these new animals a name. She chose llama. With her evidence for a new source of fiber Caelyan undertook to procure some. With the help of the local weavers guild she hired a crew of adventurers who were willing to explore the islands and bring back a large amount of wool from the llamas. She also hired a herdsman and payed to send him and his family to New Lenfald and attempt to domesticate the llamas so the weavers would have a steady and reliable source of fiber for weaving. After such an investment, everyone was excited when the raw wool finally rolled in Ainsford. The muleteer also brought news that Ranulf had successfully gathered a herd of llamas and that they were showing signs of accepting the human presence. My first GC! Exciting!
