I've been on a bit of a Clone Trooper 'kick' the last week or so. Never really found them that interesting before, but was recently inspired by a few cool builds and figs that grabbed my attention on flickr. So I dug out the handful of clone troopers that I seem to have collected and tried to come up with some cool fig combos. First up - 'Rumble' Squad - Bomb disposal and demolition specialists And Sergeant 'Chop' - Clone Trooper Elite Sniper Ps. If anyone in the UK (preferably) has any spare Clone/Star Wars stuff that they'd like to get rid of/trade, drop me a PM. - andhe

That is so true. I work at a LEGO Store, and it's always the kids between 8-14, but I enjoy clones quite a bit myself.

Nice little builds, Andhe. Your photography/editing is really good too. Thanks. All done on my phone. Sometimes I just seem to get lucky with the natural lighting.

Thanks. All done on my phone. Sometimes I just seem to get lucky with the natural lighting. Having a good eye for it helps, since you can at least spot when the lighting is favorable and when it isn't. Even if you can't necessarily make radical changes to the ambient lighting when doing a quick phone shot, you can decide to pick a different room, pick a different angle, pick a different time, pick a different day....

Yes getting the right day/weather helps. And time of day. Which is a bit more unreliable in the UK it seems...

Ha! Yes I have to admit it does look a bit like a robo-shark... but it's meant to be a 'manta'droid'. Can't remember if they're in the prequels or just the cartoons etc. But I adapted the design from another builder. Pew-pew!

Another one: I enjoyed making the figs for this one. It's actually quite difficult to get things 'Star Wars-y' rather than just generic sci-fi/fantasy. Not quite sure I totally achieved it but I like the guys I came up with.
