Unrestricted entry - "The Second Battle of Devil's Pass."
The horde of loathsome Outlaws had gained even greater numbers than before! The evil baron of the queen, Mathieux Deschamps, deemed the extra reinforcements necessary if he was to fully subjugate the unruly, rebellious Loreesi to their ever-patient sovereign.
They had just crossed into the area traditionally claimed as the border of Loreos, when they heard a low rumble, not from their own feet. The entire force stopped in consternation. Then suddenly, the banner of the old King appeared over the next rise of sand dunes! Then a rider on horseback... No, a knight! The gleam of armor could be seen!
Then more and more knights! Hundreds! Thousands!
The horde of Outlaws was utterly shocked to see a enormous army of the terrible armored knights of Loreos arrayed before them!
It was then the Outlaws began to seriously question their leader's leadership abilities...
"Baron! You said the Loreesi armies were disbanded!!"
The Baron's eyes widened in terror.
"They are!! Or they should be!!"
"Well I see a big un-disbanded army there! What are we going to do!?"
"We'll fight them, you cowards! They are the rebels now!"
"Wait a minute there! We didn't sign up for an even battle with armored lancers! You promised us lots of plunder and booty with little or no danger!"
As the arguments of the Outlaw soldiers and their leader escalated, the Loreesi leader strode forward.
"I DEMAND PARLEY!"
One of the Outlaws recognized the man whose voice had just echoed over the battlefield. The perfect hair! The ever-present grin! The famous emblem on his shield! It could be none other than the "Bane of all Outlaws"!
"IT'S MARK OF FALWORTH!!!"
Stunned silence hung in the air.
Then the Outlaws all simultaneously cried-
"WHHAAAT!?!?!?!?"
"B-But, we killed him!"
"No, the dragon got 'em!"
The Baron was just as confused as his men.
"No! No! I killed him with a boulder!"
The Loreesi knight called out again.
"I AM MARK OF FALWORTH!! AND I DEMAND PARLEY!!"
One of the Outlaws nudged the Baron.
"Well Mathieux? Aren't you goin to talk to em?"
"NO I'm not going to talk to him! It's probably a trap!"
One of the biggest outlaw warriors rebuked the baron.
"Oh, you're going to talk to him! Unless you want us to hand you over to the Loreesi as a plea bargain!"
A chorus of assent ran through the Outlaw army. Mathieux had no other choice.
The evil baron rode out to meet the Loreesi leader.
Mathieux Deschamps had seen Mark of Falworth several times before, and there was no question in his mind that this was the real Mark of Falworth.
The happy grin was a dozen times more terrifying than usual.
Mathieux, despite being almost lost for words, was the first to speak.
"How?..... How could you be?..."
"Alive? Haha!"
"The dragon they speak of....?"
"He mussed up my hair. So I had to kill him."
The baron swallowed hard.
"You can never win, Mathieux.
You're doomed to failure!"
"Is that so?"
"It's an absolute certainty, I'm afraid."
"And why is that, Mark?"
"You've made me your enemy! and now I've come for you and all who would stand by you!"
"Well I hate to disappoint you. But my army is still larger then yours! You won't be able to stop us!"
"Your ugly rabble could hardly stand a good strong breeze, let alone the mightiest warriors in the world! These knights have marched to the gates of Stonewald and back! They've trained all their lives for war, and have been battling ever since! You have no chance whatsoever!"
"A fine speech! But it will do you no good! In the name of the gracious queen I demand you to surrender! Or I declare you a Rebel and an Outlaw!"
"In the name of justice I demand you to surrender!"
"Bah! You and your "Justice" are the scourge of the land!"
"Likewise. Now, surrender unconditionally or suffer the consequences!"
"Never! You'll have to kill me before I surrender to you dogs!"
"Good! Now I shall have the distinct pleasure of destroying you utterly, you beslubbering beef-witted coxcomb!"

The Battle of Devil's Pass (Continued) by Mark of Falworth.
The two commanders trotted back to their own armies. Mark of Falworth proudly waved the banner of the old king and ordered the charge!
The Outlaw leader, Mathieux Deschamps, ordered his men to stand firm against the Loreesi!
The Outlaws stood more from sheer shock at the rapidly approaching wave of red and steel then any form of patriotism or bravery!
The Outlaws stupor was shattered when the armored lancers crashed and plowed through the first three lines of their comrades!
Then the Outlaws attacked with the deep hatred for all things Loreesi.
The battle lasted for quite a while as each side hacked and smashed the other. It was a brutally even battle, neither side seemed to gain any great advantage after the initial charge.
Then, to the great surprise of the Outlaws, the Loreesi army fled in panic! Their force consisting entirely of cavalry made this an easy procedure.
The elated Outlaws jeered and hooted at their once brave opponents! Little did they realize the maneuver was a feint!
No sooner had the red clad knights retreated then the enormous black dragon closed into the rear of the Outlaw Horde! The great beast crushed and destroyed all in his way! On top of all this the Loreesi army turned around and charged right back into the astonished Outlaws!
Resistance ceased completely, and the battle was over.

The Aftermath of the Battle by Mark of Falworth.
Mark of Falworth relentlessly pursued Mathieux Deschamps deep into the Outlaw Horde! The Evil baron was a talented swordsman, but it was all he could do to defend himself against the furious assault of the infuriated Loreesi Lord.
After several minutes of desperate hand-to-hand fighting, Mark knocked the baron clean off his mount with a mighty bone-shattering blow!
But the Outlaw soldiers were not idle! Mark’s brave steed soon succumbed to the spears of the scoundrels!
As quickly as he had fallen Mark was back up even quicker!
The Outlaws had learnt of the extreme danger of approaching Mark when he was roused to anger, and they shrank back from his fearless step! Mathieux Deschamps had no time to even spit the sand from his mouth after his fall, Mark was closing in!
The Baron of the queen snatched a shield from the ground and stood on the defense, His opponent’s ever smiling face was now a terrifying sight in the heat of battle!
Mathieux’s newly acquired shield did him no good! With one underhand strike Mark sent the Outlaw leader head-over-heels and he was sprawled out on the sand once again! His fine armor saved his life, but added greatly to the discomfort of falling to the soil.
The Baron was nearly unconscious at this point, his ears ringing from the awful beating he was receiving. But he came to once again, only to see the glimmer of Mark’s fine steel sword less than an inch from his face…
None of the Cowardly Outlaws dared to move closer to assist their leader! To do so would mean his immediate death!
Then one Outlaw, by the name of Horace, was filled with rage at the inability to stop one lone knight from running roughshod over an army! He would show this pompous imp! He would MESS UP HIS HAIR!!!
Mark was utterly traumatized at having his hair so appallingly disturbed! Mark swatted poor Horace deep into next week!
“BY THE JARL’S BEARD! YOU’VE RUINED MY HAIR!” Mark screamed wildly as HE DROPPED HIS WEAPONS to hastily amend his precious locks!
The Outlaw sized this golden opportunity to tackle Mark from all sides while being fueled by the rage of generations of hostility!
With sword in hand, Mark would have laughed at two dozen men at once. But unarmed he was helpless!
One Outlaw captain, with a mighty swing, smacked his spiked mace right into the back of Mark’s head! Knocking him unconscious instantly!
Mathieux Deschamps rushed forward and threw his soldiers off of Mark’s prostrate form. “NOOO!! STOP YOU FOOLS! I WANT HIM ALIVE!”
The Baron felt his pulse, “By the powers, he lives! Quick! You two, take him back to our fortress!”
One of the Outlaws stammered. “B-But sir! Can't we kill him now?”
The Baron flashed an evil grin. “He’s much more valuable to us alive! Now hurry!”
